Concerns me that the population will die here on live.
I didn’t start wow until BC so the urge is not there. I was one of the super nerds stuck on SWG. I am actually insanely jealous of all of you for classic, I know you must be excited as hell.
i started in MoP but i am so god damn excited for classic, 90% of the people that are going to be playing classic didn’t even play back then dude! join us mate.
I didn’t play Vanilla either, and started in BC. I think you should give it a try, and view it more as a WoW expansion than a downgrade. Free to try, and if you decide you don’t like it, you can always put it down and go back to retail.

Played a priest in vanilla. Trust me Classic is far, far better than retail by every conceivable metric. Just do it.
classic is just tbc with like 3 less buttons per spec an they already said they are likely give us a tbc server one day

I started in wotlk and I thought the same at first. But when I tried it out during the stress test my perspective changed.

Even more of a reason to play Classic if you started in BC. It’s a completely different game, though the PvP scene is somewhat lacking in 1.12, the game is SOOO much better, you really should give it a go. If it’s not for you then hey, retail is always there.

Seems most people don’t remember how “meh” vanilla was. I played it and really didn’t care for it. The only reason I kept playing vanilla and made it to BC was because at that time it was the best game out. Doesn’t mean it was great but better than anything out at that time.
BC is what hooked me and kept me playing.

I couldn’t get Fox anywhere else, so I’m staying Herod. Not going to give up Fox and Die. xD It benefits me to stay on a big realm anyways since I’m going for Grand Marshal, and it’s % based.

Your character being online in dazaralor (afk) will pad the retail population meters so you won’t feel bad about it anymore
I played right before TBC release. Never really experience end game. But Im super excited for the leveling experience (I cannot wait for STV leveling), Meeting new players, and no cross-realm.
