My point is that people in this thread are acting like the ONLY way to get azerite is through TR. That is far from the truth
Kinda.
I want to farm TR via Heroics/WQ’s.
To be honest, that would be fair enough. not huge chunks of it enough to get like 5 azerite gear in a day, but definitely not 1 per world quest(as unrewarding that is). Honestly, i think it should be 5-10, but…
If you actively avoid doing the primary method of getting azerite gear, that doesn’t change the over all statement.
Yes. You can get TR gear without raiding. Its also a lot slower.
Yeah, kinda like that.
Most people don’t raid. Yes, the other methods are the primary for those people.
And those people have the ability to branch out. You can’t limit yourself and complain that there isn’t enough of something. That’s not how this works.
This is like talking to a 12 yo about their allowance. They do everything besides mow the grass and then complain they don’t get enough money. You have an option right in front of you to make more money (TR) by mowing the grass (raiding) and are just refusing to do so for whatever reason and then complaining about your rate of income.
Thats fine its the primary source for people that willingly choose not to use the primary source in the game.
It doesn’t change anything I said (in context).
If people choose to get azerite gear at a much slower rate, that is on them.
Is he really limiting himself? Or are your kind hurting ours?
If you are actively not participating in another form of gaining something you are actively limiting yourself to more potential gains. You cannot only put forth enough “effort” for 50% of a reward and then complain there isn’t enough potential for a reward.
The problem is TR is not farmable. I’m going to bash this into your skull until you get it.
Raids > LFR, chance to drop, low amount.
Islands > RNG
M0 > Chance to drop, low amount
Weekly M+ Chest > Content I choose not to do without friends.
Where does that leave me, eh?
It leaves you getting as much as you can get. Unfortunately due to willingly avoiding much of the content, you will be hampered in your intake.
That is not a WoW issue. That is not a Blizzard issue.
It’s not the Blizzard way to get screwed over by RNG.
Maybe if you could see that, I wouldn’t be arguing with you. Also see my edit on the Sub thread.
Except they would never add an “infinitely” farmable source that means anything. Any source of it that is repeatable would NEVER leave single digits. They aren’t that stupid.
The ONLY additional source I could see them adding is reworking a failed reroll off of AP and onto TR similar to how in Legion you get Wakening Essences currently for a failed reroll. Even then I would be incredibly surprised to see THAT number leave double digits.
Not relevant but anyway.
If you want to limit yourself to whatever you get from your chest that is your prerogative. Just don’t whine you aren’t getting enough when there are ways to get more right in front of you. My anology is fine. There is an answer to your complaint staring at your face. “I dont wanna” is not a good argument to stand on.
Sorry, people can and do whine about everything in game on the forums so it will continue to happen. That being said their complaints have some merit.
Is it “I don’t wanna” or “You can’t.”?
Anyone can join a pug for raid. Anyone can START a pug for a raid. With xrealm mythic out anyone remotely close to 400 IL gets a shot at a 335 TR loot pinata. Half the amount from a +10 weekly cache for 10 minutes of your time. I constantly check and even around noon on weekdays there are always 4-ish pugs for M CoL and 10-15 at various bosses in heroic.
OK, I join all these groups. Decline. Decline. Decline.
I try to make a group. Waits 30 minues for a single applicant, a DPS
