Getting punished the more you min max does feel pretty bad It’s pretty horrible for warriors and it’s having the effect of top guilds not taking resto druids because they aren’t worth the buff slots with their spells on players.

You want raiding to be a true feat? Take your gear off before you enter the raid. That should be plenty challenging.

Among top or near top performing guilds the content is so easy there is no focus on cooperative because its literally automatic…so the focus then becomes friendly competitive nature among guild members also top guilds hand out loot by dps performance. Also you could be cooperative by being competitive on guild vs guild scale via the server rankings on warcraft logs.

let’s be honest here… the ‘competition’ on classic speedrun is only there for those who aren’t able to keep up with mythic raiding.
