I keep flip flopping between Regular Orc and Mag’har Orc for my Warrior and Shaman. There are elements of the Mag’har I like like racials and heritage armor, plus a couple of the hair styles are just better overall. But I’ve been around the Greenskin versions for so long now it almost feels wrong to play a Non Greenskin orc also they do have racials that fit in a different sense. (at least one that isn’t dead and reanimated, see my possible future Orc Death Knight)
Anyway this was just me griping about stupid nonsensical things because I wanted to get it off my chest and waste forum space.
I’m so complete and utter garbage that I stay away from “High end” content that requires the peak performance possible. Honestly I shouldn’t even be playing this game.
Just ignore that comment if meta isnt important to you. I personally think the Mag’har look better in every way possible. But then again, I never wanted my orcs green, I always chose the brown option, as if they weren’t corrupted.
I have a similar thing when im never satisfied with being a void elf or a vulpera. Because when i play one im sad im not the other.
Ive been struggling for months trying to find what im happiest as.
But my realm and guild are alliance so im sticking with void elf for the time being at least.
So i have something to anchor me unlike you XD

My problem is both are orcs on the same faction so barring a $25 race change every time I feel like Mag’har or Regular I’m kind of stuck, and frankly I can imagine better things to spend that $25 on.
Ugh, there’s another good Race/class combo. Love the Elven Ranger archtype but there’s something about the Orcish Beastmaster, perhaps hinting at Mok’Nathal roots
I find that orc classic has the better customization, racials and lore. I don’t want to be a trans-dimensional time-travel steam-punk orc.
Why did we have to go to AU Dreanor for our Mag’har when our normal time-line mag’har are already -in- The Horde. Just make them customization for normal orcs, and give us an actually interesting allied race.
If we had to go to AU Dreanor for something, it should have been something great! The Sargerai! The Arakkoa! The Saberon! Dreanor has roman empire themed ogres. Ancient. Roman. Ogres. The heck! We live in the darkest time-line.
Seeing as the Bronze Dragon that helped us back into AU Draenor said that our Garrosh was the absolute worst possible version of him I’m inclined to agree.
Probably had the idea of allied races for maybe one or two characters and then realized “Oh crap, we need to design more. Um err, I know give the current races and new paint job and call it a day!”
