Everything in this game just feels so bad now. You que a pvp match and have to try and keep track of a millions buffs/debuffs you have never even heard of, the new UI is just not for me I have tried giving it a chance I can’t with it I wish there was a toggle to go back to the old UI. (That new mini map is ugly as sin) and don’t get me started on mythics it’s literally LFG simulator. It’s so garbage and boring. I miss just doing content with decent rewards.

The UI is an easy enough fix, you can download a classic UI string from wowhead for one.
The other issues… are why I’m spending most of my time in Classic.

I love Classic WoW.
I just edited the UI to match mine in SL. However, I’ve gotten use to the toolkit being centered.
Ok.
I’m having fun tho.
if your biggest complaint is the ui, just go grab an addon.

It’s that ugly map. No addon I have found gets rid of that ugly mini map.
Is this the new flavour of GD for the next few months?
Personally I enjoyed levelling in classic but that’s where it stopped, the gameplay just wasn’t particularly engaging beyond that from a PvE perspective and I enjoy the levels of commitment / challenge retail offers with mythic raiding which I do with my guild.
PvP on retail is a mess, not exactly sure you’d fix that though.

Just venting as someone who loves WoW. I put in a good many hours I just feel like I don’t understand retail appeal anymore I want too but it all feels so bad.
it’s been like this since classic launched, classic players come to the retail forums to try to get people to reassure them that they’re playing the “correct” version of the game.

I believe theres an option in the game edit mode to go back to the pre-DF UI (i did it)

Problem found. Don’t Q for a PvP match? You’ll be happier.
Again, one of the many reasons why PvP sucks.
But, hey, there’s plenty more to the game than PvP.
You act like you weren’t using a million UI replacer mods already, esp for the Minimap. Most people (not me) did. And hey, I got used to the new UI, I was able to make it look like XIV’s somewhat, without needing to download mods so that’s awesome!
Mythics were always just a cheap way to pad content, only with removing the auto matchmaking system that the Heroics used. So, eh. /shrug
But hey at least there’s way more story content and open world stuff to do. Better than having this empty world where nothing happens beyond a few quests per zone.
It unfortunately keeps that ugly mini map. I hate it.
There are minimap mods out there, and the vast majority of people were already using them.

For me it’s that I enjoy overcoming challenges with my guild. We cleared the raid on mythic a few weeks ago after spending 9 hours a week in there since reset, we all know what we signed up for and the experience of progression is what we enjoy.
What is it you want out of the game, and be specific instead of answering in an abstract sense.
