What addon is being used to blacklist players and how does it work to effectively blacklist players?
The only way to ruin an addon like this is to send bad feedback about literally everyone. Right or wrong and get as many people involved. Their servers will blow up, bots get overwhelmed and their mods will have to shut it down. Or delete it all.
All addons start small. You think RIO, details, DBM started with the download count they have now?

Funny thing is people pick the wrong people sometimes for bad actions. In a M+ 15 the other day a mage pulled an extra pack and everyone was asking who did it and no one ever responded.

So you can in fact watch for an event and then call for a screenshot. The rest would be handled by the desktop app which would do some very simple file manipulations of the screenshot.
You could then create a log with a time stamp of the event to check that against the screenshot name (and search for duplicates as this would indicate possible manipulation) and then verify against last modified and created properties.

You clearly have no clue on what im talking about, that function is used to perform a screenshot, its like pressing your prtscr button, the act of sending your data (in this case, screenshot image) from an ingame action straight to a third party site is what isn’t allowed and doesn’t exists within WOW.
I swear it’s like im arguing with teenagers that have no clue what they’re talking about while pretending to be a tech.

Did you ever plat DoTA on WC3 back in the day? We used to have a ban list addon where it was player based and trusted players with high reputations could share their list with others. Difference being that there wasn’t one master list.

The DotA version worked because every player maintained their own list unless they added an imported list from someone they trusted.

It has to be a child developing this. They obviously lack the total background and maturity to understand all repercussions of it. It is very clear from all their replies. Blizzard already has a legal team in place to deal with people making pedophilic comments in trade chat. There’s a report button, have you ever seen it? There’s also an ignore list.
Also, just because YOU think something is toxic, it doesn’t mean someone else feels the same. That makes it SUBJECTIVE to YOUR personal opinion. Therefore void.
Also, if anyone feels hurt unfairly by this atrocious idea, take it up in a court of law and sue for harrassment and moral damages. Print this forum topic with all their responses and keep for your records. Oh yeah, you can be liable for a host of consequences that bullying can bring, that you have no maturity to foresee. Did you know that some people actually commit suicide from being digitally bullied? Did you know you can be the cause for somebody’s death? WoW, we agree on something I even show you were and how I said it previously and you still can’t let it go.
I can’t even break it down any further for you. At this point a 5 year old with no knowledge at all of programming could understand what is being said. But lets give it a last go.
There is a desk top app and there is an addon in game (much like TSM)
When you click report in game with the addon it calls for the screen shot function.
This takes a screen shot and creates a log in a separate folder for the app.
The desk top app then sends both the log and screenshot to the mods.
The mods can then verify if there are any disputes.
This is what both of us have said. There is no disagreement anymore as we have both been talking about exactly the same thing this entire time…
We never agree on anything you’re just making things up.
You showed me a printscreen function which you can do with just pressing your prtscr button and said “See, the function is there”.
