I’m unsure of that but according to some of the q&a section reports are supposed to come with evidence.
How does this thread show that? By people posting on alts or classic toons?
Or it sounds like the developer gets to decide who has been naughty or nice…and the developer is also the appeal authority.
To potentially get a comment removed, you have to tell the developer you are sorry
" In light cases, admission of wrong-doing is acceptable,"
This is an add-on that has a high probability to be used for harassment and players have no recourse to fix the situation

To be completely honest, I’m against it being moderated by the ones who developed the addon and would more suggest a system of positive and negative reviews on someone as that would be more telling than it would be in the hands of the devs.

Can you explain how they’re ensuring that any screenshots they receive haven’t been photoshopped? Were you aware that Blizzard doesn’t allow screenshots as proof of anything because they can very easily be faked?
If it’s not good enough for blizz, why is it ok here?
You people are complacent with allowing other players to collect unverifiable subjective data on you and your reputation, and spread that around to other users of the app - and yes right now that’s inconsequential, but it won’t be if the app userbase grows.
piss off the wrong person on the forum, and they and their friends could very, very easily smear your name via this addon.
only an absolute fool would think that won’t happen.

I downloaded it and so far there is a grand total of nothing happening. I don’t really mind the concept. Its Personal Black List with the ability to import other peoples notes.
The only thing I wish was there were options that enabled me to ignore flags for racism, sexism, and the like. This is usually because of politics and I really don’t care.
Your character has 2 negative reviews for quitting keys despite being on classic. Blizzard should hire these devs lol.

Like I said, I’m against the developers of the addon moderating it and am more of a fan of a hands off approach via negative and positive reviews. The critique that the devs shouldn’t be responsible is one I agree with.

Seems more like the supporting documentation is optional and the discord bot auto adds the report.

yep, when you initiate a report, you just type your stuff in there. there’s no requirement for any supporting documentation.
it probably just dumps it in a google spreadsheet.

I’d never use that thing. On the off chance that it becomes popular, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s ability to get into a group.

So basically anyone can add you to the ban list for a falsified reasoning, but if you want to get taken off the list you will need “evidence”.
well, I left the discord so can’t be certain, but I don’t remember seeing anything about having something removed.
