Very convoluted mindset. While not specifically gaming, Verizon, Frontier, Smartride, AT&T all do will perform word of mouth marketing, whether in person, or upon the internet simply because the results of 1 in 40 of a potential customer. TV advertisements garner 1 in 100,000 potential customers.
If anybody is wondering, that youtube video up there is a re-creation of the in-game music done by the actual developers who have their own music band. Think the ETC, only they did more than 1 song, and they are the actual developers of the game.
Oh, and the track in-game? Sounds very similar to this. It’s a dungeon exploration theme. As in, the track that plays while you are going through the dungeon.
We were talking specifically about paying people to go onto other forums, including this one which you have to have somehow paid to post on, to advertise a game. As far as I know, companies don’t do that. But somehow people assume that this is what Square Enix have done, with it not at all being a very common method, by western companies at the very least. Why then is it an asian company that does this?
As I said, it goes very much hand in hand with the obvious racist tendencies on these forums, and the World of Warcraft game overall - well, in the playerbase atleast.
I remember entering the dungeon the first time, hearing the music and then we reach the boss and the boss theme starts playing
And then the boss was killed off and the music returned
Well, the hateful troll-people have flagged me to death again. They really hate our constitution. So before they can suspend me again I am heading back to FF14. God bless and take care all. This is my last post here. By the way commies, you may have won a battle, but you will lose the war.
Was this before or after Persistence was the mid-boss theme?
I know everybody likes to bash Persistence, but that happens to be one of my all-time favorite battle themes in the game. It’s so simple, but yet powerful and tense sounding.
I was really a sad panda when they removed Persistence being the theme of Amaurot’s bosses… because that theme really fit there.
It must have been after. Regardless, ‘A Long Fall’ is still not an ost I appreciated or would ever appreciate being interrupted when I was vibin’ to it.
Or… well, I would not mind the Alexander boss theme.
Eh, I actually like breaks in the middle of an awesome dungeon theme.
I mean if you let the same theme play over and over and over again for 20 minutes that would get old. Breaking it up with the battle theme lets it come back fresh, because if you listen to the same track for too long, your brain starts to go into ignore mode and puts it on a side burner.
Kinda like when you first turn the air conditioner in your room on, you notice it. But 5 minutes later, your brain has filtered the noise out for the most part.
This just in: Different people like different things. Weird concept, I know.
Though I imagine I get the same kind of cringe face when people tell me they enjoy WoW PvP, lol.
