I was wrong about FF14

Do they though.

Can you come with any examples of companies paying individuals to go around on forums and advertising? You are obviously not privy to information regarding flow of money in companies, but surely it happens often enough that you can see people on forums - which you have to pay with either time of gold grinding or 15 bucks no less, just to write a forum post saying: “Ey dudes, buy pasta at Costco’s, it is the best!”

Nah, I sit firmly on the idea that because Square Enix is a Japanese thus asian nation, then people think they would pay people to advertise their game by making forum sposts all over the internet, instead of doing what western companies do, which is to pay to have their ads shown on social media, or in banners, or on billboards… no no, they are asian, they do not do that.

Its a very beautiful game and I generally play it for a month or so when I want a break from WoW. I always subscribe when I do as I have a huge store of materials in my bottomless materials storage and you cant access that without a sub (clever mongrels, Bathesda). If you do Id suggest you do a bit of research but if you know games you probably understand there is a lot to learn. It does have an ingame help screen which is very handy.

Whatever games you play, remember - have fun! Thats an order :sunglasses:

The reason I started this post is that I had given my opinion of the FF14 game without giving it a fair chance. I tried other characters that I enjoyed more and so I reposted back in this forum that I had been hasty and that the game is actually enjoyable. Naturally everything I post gets flagged here by some small-minded individuals and it inevitably leads to days of lost posting priveledge, but that doesn’t matter. Despite those who hate free speech and will try to shut down all other opinions, I will exercise my freedom of speech until I die. My Wow account is closed so the flagging trolls will need to find another victim. The most distressing part is the censors who actually do the blocking and account penalties. But that’s all water under the bridge. May you all stay safe and may this pandemic become only a bad memory of the past. Be safe. Peace.

Unless they changed something, you still need to use the Duty Finder (Dungeon Finder) to run dungeons as you progress the story, or you can’t continue. So… it’s not exactly solo friendly.

Ah thank you! 100 Gil a TP is bad. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Once you unlock the Challenge Log in Limsa Lominsa at… I wanna say Level 15, Gil is a non-issue. You get thousands of gil for just about anything you do in the Challenge Log.

SMH. I posted it because I had previously posted that it was no good, but I learned otherwise. This is called civility. Perhaps you could benefit by some as well.

Greener pastures sure same sad trolls like you using FF to tick people off is just what we need. Yall be here 2030 saying the same thing over and over about another game never quitting you guys are the saddest bunch on the forums.

No one cares bye.

I’ll admit there are trolls here…but I am not one of them. Looks back at you.

And now we all know who the flagging troll is.

So says the person with a cringe-worthy name who took time out of her day to come into a thread she obviously did not want, just to participate in said thread, to tell us how much of a troll we are for discussing other games amongst ourselves.

Who is more sad, someone who is engaging in civil conversation, or the person who butts in and calls everybody a troll?

We were being civil in here, we were just having fun in casual conversation and this loudmouth suddenly walks up and starts yammering because she doesn’t like the topic of conversation.

People like that IRL tend to be annoying for the sake of being annoying, yanno, the same thing you’re accusing us of. Looking in the mirror, much?

I dunno there’s like a dozen people in here civilly discussing this just fine, and they appear to care enough to enjoy casual conversation until the actual troll pops in to be annoying.

One thing that nobody can deny about FF14 is that the music SLAPS

While WoW does have a few cool tunes… the problem with WoW’s music is that it is too ambient, it’s barely present in the background, and the moment any actual action happens, the music quickly fades away in your mind because there was very little to ‘grab onto’ and your attention is pulled elsewhere.

In XIV, though, the music is very much in the forefront, and it is far more well-designed, and even during the most heated raid fight, the music is pounding in your ears and is setting up an epic sensation, and each boss fight has music specially designed just for it (the Trials and Normal Raids, I mean).

And be forever last to the trebuchet battle at Castle Bloodmane when I’m in the North West

I really wanted to play the last expansion but the expansion battle music was just so cringe all immersion was lost.

You mean XIV’s Shadowbringers battle theme? It’s… strange, but yet at least in my opinion, it was fitting, because you’re on an entirely different world, where things are different there.

But to each their own. I find it rather sad, that That’s the reason why you stopped.

Doesn’t ffix has forums?

Love it! Tight group.
