It seems like you get a 30 day ban for playing av if you’re a boost or leveling dk. Am I crazy, or is this a serious risk? Is s4 worth the risk even at 70?
I am legit worried. It’s av weekend too.

The classic devs are a completely different beast than the retail devs.
About to hit 70 on my DK and have only done AV. I don’t buy that the banned people weren’t AFKing; have seen plenty of them and reported them with the fancy upgraded report function.

I done explained this in the last thread, and it’s 7d+honor wipe btw, not 30.

Just don’t AFK for multiple games and you’ll be fine. I leveled my DK from 61 to 70 in AV and bought a full stack of Brutal gear, and ever since I’ve been in AV on my Hunter doing the achievements.
The problem is people who weren’t AFKing are getting banned, people who are defending towers, back capping are also getting banned, which is why there is such a huge uproar right now.

This happens literally every time AV becomes “meta”. People AFK and then complain on the forums about how they didn’t deserve the ban.

i did solo bf till 68 and AV from then till 70. just make sure you’re not afk’ing on noob hill
67-70 will get you honor capped and as a dk you can still beat people.
Most of the time in AV you should be afk. Running around capping objectives or actively fighting will result in an honor loss.
If Av had objectives other than waiting then maybe you’d have an argument.

Well if you want to live in your little utopia alternate reality where innocent people are never banned then so be it. Even blizz community council people with clean records are posting about how they were falsely banned. And even so, 30 day bans for first time AFK offenders is insane.
