Some games does fill the players spots with npc, and some other games if you queue’d for 5min and RDF didn’t pop? they allow you to enter alone while the dungeon is scaled for you so u can be able to solo, other games doesn’t scale dungeon but give you atk/hp/def Buff to make u able to solo.
creative ideas are meant to solve issue’s and help players, that’s what any mmo-rpg should aim for Unlike blizzard who’s Playing dead and letting tons of people quit out of frustration.
It’s not name calling if it’s true. An honest portrayal of someone is valuable. Some people want to pretend they don’t judge other people when everyone judges people all the time. Pretending is a lie. Other people get angry and use words that most often are a lie. He’s not the end product of the digestive process nor a donkey and it’s unlikely he had improper relations with his mother. Yet most people lie and name call that way. I simply tell the truth as I see it. He is a narcissist.
That is how it works. If I was a clinical psychologist it wouldn’t be name calling but a diagnosis. You can try to argue that I’m not qualified to make the diagnosis or argue that my diagnosis is incorrect, but you can’t argue that it’s not how it works.
I mean, for many that was the allure of Classic right? It was an already solved “easier” game that could be raid logged with a spreadsheet of to do items ready for your viewing. 6 hours a week max and you win. Now, imagine if there was real progression where you don’t always win and it takes more time to boot. Even jumping forums for a bit. How many players would be retained if SoD had real progression even? I’m sure some people would be happy (like me), but if I were a betting man, Blizzard would lose most of their player base.
Using lol, especially with lots of ooo’s or using emojis is like putting on a big “I’m stupid” button.
I didn’t even want to talk about this. You and Ivanka started it. But I don’t get it. This isn’t how intelligent people talk. If you want to debate this the thing to do is to state your objections or counter argument in clear rational logical terms. You tell me to change my logic without making a single logical counter argument. And you don’t even see the irony in that. You’re both such sad people. It’s like you’re waving an I’m stupid flag. You’d be laughed off the debate team or out of any circle of intellectuals.
You juveniles need to go to the past to learn how to discuss or debate. Watch some of William Buckley’s debates. Best with someone like Christopher Hitchens because then Buckley has an intellectual equal debating him.
When many classic players raid, their expectations is to “win” or clear the raid which is part of their fun. Which is indicative of the number of players dropping when things get harder. Even something as solved as Classic Vanilla Naxx, guilds folded like lawn chairs when the spreadsheet didn’t quite work out the way it said . and this was only like 2 weeks in. 8/10 TBC pre nerf vashj/kt same deal. Sunwell TBC, a lot of guilds tried once then stopped all together since it was the last raid tier.
FF14 at least gets around this by making it an instant wipe if you die
Then again, FF14 dungeon bosses tend to be practically mini-raid bosses with actual mechanics and phases that require active participation from the whole group…
I think I was kicked. I got the message “You have been removed from the group,” when I attempted to zone into Forge of Souls after a wipe. I got the loading screen, but before it finished: a new loading screen–the standard WotLK one–and I was in Dalaran. Then I saw the message about being removed.
That’s a kick, right? It just happened to occur while I was zoning.
Why was I kicked? We fought two of the big ghosts in the final hallway, after trying to sneak by one of them. I fumbled for decurse but found myself way behind on healing and then dead.
I didn’t pull the patrol. I didn’t make the bad decision not to wait all of FIVE seconds for it to start moving away. I sucked at healing, yes, but why take ALL the blame? I’ve successfully healed Forge heroic 8 or 9 times now, all with worse gear, healing lower HP allies too.
Most of my RDF experiences have not been toxic, but a few have.
The group killed one of the ghosts before the wipe, so what risk could they possibly have been taking in not kicking me? There were zero issues until then. The poor dears–they might have to cast resurrect after killing me on the final boss! Not that I’d expect them to…
A lot of people go along with a kick so they don’t get kicked themselves–real great for everyone’s mental state.
You proposed a debate on the question, “Is name calling i.e. calling someone a narcissist ethical.” I was bored so I decided to see if you were capable of engaging in debate by questioning the premise of the question, is calling someone a narcissist name calling? Confronted with that rather simple question all you were able to do was post, “looooooooool.” Now you claim you don’t care about debate at all. It sounds like sour grapes. You really shouldn’t propose a debate when you lack the intellectual ability to engage in a debate.
