That’s why people play this game. They play to progress their character in rewards and power and to kill bosses and or win in PvP… Thats just the reality of the situation. If you don’t get value from the game or anything that you spend time doing, you should probably ask yourself why you’re wasting your time doing something that you don’t find valuable or enjoyable.
It never ceases to amaze me how people can be sooo deadset against the blizzard boost but have nothing bad to say about the dungeon boosting that drives the gold farming demand.
And every thing you get from the outlands will immediately be replaced in WotLK and so on and so on
Why is this news to people still?
The levels themselves are the reward along with everything you get in that process, and they aren’t devalued as soon as you go into outlands as long as everyone has gone through that process and already experienced it. The moment people skip it is when it is devalued. It’s not devalued by playing through it.
So you are equally against the dungeon boosts and will help start reporting them?
Under yalls logic let’s just skip to 70 with t6 then
I’ve already said to nerf dungeon boosting
You keep missing this. Or just not listening Highland.
You do not speak for everyone.
Some people play it for that.
Some people play it for a whole other reason.
Some people, like my daughter when she was younger, played it as a ghost after dying and exploring the world.
The issue is you do not speak for everyones game play.
You do speak for you and that is awesome!!
Dismantle their arguments and watch them grasp at straws.
You are the one the finds personal value in leveling. If others being level 58 “devalues” your existence (as pathetic as that sounds) Then I suppose you will have to learn to cope. Many of us dont put our value in video games so I suppose I cant really relate here.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand why people play the game. You can speak for everyone in this case because it’s easy to understand why people play WoW or games in general. They play to have fun in whatever way they deem fit, and I even thought of leveling, exploration, and socializing when I wrote my post, but I’m just not goin to write them out because it’s obvious. And all of those reasons, and the reasons you listed are still things that will get devalued by a boost and reasons to not introduce such a feature. What you’re missing is the fact that boost devalue PART of the fun out of wow.
Right, but other people not having to do everything I did to get to the point I’m at doesn’t bother me.
Does it bother you that they won’t be doing MC, BWL, AQ40, or Naxx at 70? Does it bother you that they won’t have to farm gold as hard for their ground mount? Does it bother you they’ll have their first mount at 30, and not 40?
I get enjoyment out of the game and satisfaction when I or my guild accomplish things. What other people do or get doesn’t impact me in any way when it’s just leveling.
Never said it devalues my existence lol… and the only one who’s argument has been dismantled is yours. And I don’t need to cope. I’m trying to get these convenience, greed features removed before they’re finalized, but I know they probably will be finalized, and that’s just the way it is. I’ll just quit playin the game.
Funny enough it did bother me in originally TBC when people got the mount at 30 rather than 40 for similar reasons as to what I’m saying now. It’s just another example of how even a child can feel the rewards getting devalued, so thank you for reminding me of that experience in my youth. However, that’s not nearly as bad a feature as a 58 boost, and at least those were in original TBC so they have a better argument behind them. At this point I think it’d be a miracle to just get boosts and this new store mount removed before it’s too late.
…yeah, you really have a serious problem. This isn’t a game issue.
(sigh) but apparently it takes one to understand that people are not all the same.
I’m done with trying to convince you.
Take care brother
There who can forget the bible you wrote on “human nature in video games”
Its all rather sad tbh. But if you wanna find your value in this game I suppose I have no right to judge
Maybe just dont try and force others to think like this. To some its just for enjoyment, If you can talk blizzard into the T6 dreams you have then all the power to you. Im gonna enjoy it my way, and what you do doesnt really hinder my ability to do that. So have at it
Oh no, Someone from Total Disaster isn’t having a good time! Sad to see the guild of griefers and toxic people aren’t having a good time.
/s
I mean if you are incapable of seeing how these rewards get devalued, then I don’t know what to tell you. I couldn’t care less about these examples I’m using now. I’m just using them to make an argument, but maybe you are not able to comprehend that. I do care about the game now, and a classic version of TBC shouldn’t be ruined by boosts and store mounts.
And if you value them so much you can still do them. Why do you care what other people do or do not do when it doesn’t impact you?
