We Pandaren are the closest thing… but still not the same.

How does it feel to want?

I want naga or a naga like race or sea like race, but don’t see that happening

What about Sethrak? Or Naga with Legs? I’d also like a bird race… like arroaka… but unlikely.

You need to get Meerah’s Jukebox so that you can sing along with Meerah whenever you feel this longing.

Me too OP, me too.

I’ll probably end up having like 10 Vulpera characters once they come out xD

A Naga like race with legs would be cool. Would race change my shadow priest to that. She will accept N’Zoth’s gift, but doesn’t get a crown, but instead changes to a naga like being that can walk. Kinda looks like Azshara but not.

Still playing around with her design before I draw her

That’s cool.

I have theorised for a long time that that’s what will happen if Naga ever become playable. It’s going to be a dissident group rebelling against their old god masters. And they’ll use magic to grow legs on land to be able to better function long term on land. With a two form like ability they can access which gives them back their tail. That would clear away the obvious issues with playable Naga. Next issue is the fact that the male’s have such awkward heads I don’t even know what to do with them. Maybe they look a bit more elvish when in their humanoid form? idk. Basically Sea Elves though.

I am sorry. There won’t be any Vulpera around these parts on my watch. Except as fur coats :hugs:

There is the strong possibility of Gilgoblins. If they are able to be druids, perhaps they may get a form that lets them look something like a Naga or sea monster.

EEWWWWWWWWW.

Would be cool.

But would be awkward for my spriest since she serves Azshara when she receives the gift

Would you like a taste of my “Benevolence”?

Headcanon can be anything. You’re actually still a loyalist who’s infiltrated these rebels. See easy.

No and why?

I’ll go with no and why.

Reasons are as follows:

1. Intrinsic similarities/Allied race formula.

So far all allied races that have existed have had an intrinsic similarity to an existing race and they have always been the same racial type. Even void elves are still elves and have an intrinsic similarity to an existing playable race. Vulpera don’t have a backstory connecting them to goblins other than working with the horde, they aren’t a a super intelligent race, they aren’t heavy greed driven living in a capitalistic society like goblins do, they don’t show any indication for having the same nack for tinkering like goblins do. This is for starters.

2. Gilblins are created by Hobart Grapplehammer who is Horde aligned and we will be helping Gilblins when Nazjatar comes out.

He also made a statement during an earlier part of the war campaign that he is working on a formula for perfecting super intelligent Gilblins. This happens right after you do that quest which takes you into the deep ocean. So Gilblins fit in with the theme of the expansion and we are heading into an underwater zone where we will be interacting with non hostile Gilblins helping the Horde. Next thing.

3. Male Gilblins have more animations than Male Vulpera do.

And with the goblin model update coming along they are also up there in terms of custom options that they show. Along with the potential foreshadowing by Hobart Grapplehammer, this is a potential indication that we will be seeing a lot more from them.

You can see the male Gilblin and male Vulpera animations side by side here.
