Probably would look really goofy… but so do worgen as their “mount” form…

Worgen have their little running mount form, so give DHs their flying mount form.
While were at it, give mechagnomes/everyone the ability to use jetpacks all the time, everywhere.
Oh and something like the broom mount, but all year round.

I’d totally be in favor of Demon Hunters’ wings being visible at all times.
If that option is met, then they should be able to have a druid-style flight form. (No cast required; just don’t be in combat)
If the wings are toggled off, then a standard cast should be required. (You’re removing part of your armor to free your wings)

I’m sorry but I have no sympathy whatsoever for demo locks nostalgic for meta. Open a new tab and google “wow demo meta”, the first three or four results will show you what these warlocks are pining for. Does it look at all familiar? That’s right, it’s a got dang illidari! It even has the tattoos! There wasn’t even gender specific metas like DHs have, it was just an Illidari form that they tacked onto demonology because they never got round to making demon hunters a proper class. Well now they have so it’s only right that a literal Illidari model is removed from demonology altogether.
Come on guys, 2016 was a long time ago. If you want to summon demons and turn them into your pets, you roll a warlock. If you want to surrender to demonic possession and wield all their magic and skill (which ought to include flight!) then you roll a demon hunter. Time to get with the program!

I’d love to have wings as a DH!!! I’d never go to another class. My dh would finally feel complete! Also it’d be really nice to have the wings out all the time, rather than just when I’m gliding.
Something I really don’t understand is how people just hate a class and all of its players… lol. Like this isn’t even a DH combat abilities thread, saying “buff x!” or whatever, it’s just a lore thing and yet people still found their way in here just to be angry

I used to play perfect world and the elves in that game had wings in their backs and u could fly with them. Sooo I say why not.
I wouldn’t be against the idea, as long as you give Paladins super-speed flight for the duration of Avenging Wrath and Guardian of the Ancient Kings.
And yet I’ll still watch DH’s take fall damage and die 
DHs are not fully transformed lime illidan, they are only a sliver as powerful as him, thus he can fly and we cannot, not very hard to understand
You keep saying you as if the players had anything to do with these design choices. Blizzard did it, not the player.
I think it is silly warlocks can’t use the demonic speech anymore. It would have been cool for flavor, immersion or RP that warlocks kept it.
I’m surprised warriors can’t use warglaives, as they can use literally every other weapon in game.
These are choices Blizzard made.
DH is fun. I’ve always liked Illidan since WC3 and waited many long years in WoW to play a DH. Game mechanics and difficulty aside, I’d have played one no matter how easy or hard, fun or boring they are. The class fantasy is for me and its okay if its not for everyone. Just don’t make it personal and don’t take it too hard.
Anyway, someday Blizzard should bring back new class mounts for everyone. I hope they listen to these requests and give us DH’s flying demon forms. If worgen have one, and druids have one, I see no harm in it. It would just be a bit of flavor for a class that has wings.

You know what, I think the obvious compromise here is they should give DH a third, caster spec (in addition to flight form!) If this thread is anything to go by there’s clearly a huge demand to be able to cast while in meta! I mean, it’s not just nostalgia goggles is it? They don’t just want reskinned Tyrant-centric demo do they? This is an authentic class fantasy they’re yearning for! 
Are you kidding me with this? The player character is meant to be underpowered? That’s the thinking? Have you seen the sort of things druids are turning into these days? Kul’Tiran balance wickerman? Zandalari Ankylodon? They even have Fel-werebear form! But do you see any of us demon hunters accusing them of stealing our tattoos? Hell no! Unlike certain classes we have some grace about the others co-opting our aesthetics!
As for Illidan, didn’t you notice he spent most of Legion without his signature warglaives of azzinoth? That’s because he canonically lost them to the players that defeated him. Which is not exclusive to demon hunters! If anything we should be up in arms that you warriors were pilfering the toolkit from our leader! 
I think a good Paladin class mount would be a lightforged Valkyr that carries you around by the scruff of the neck like those Kyrian do to you in Spires. You’re all about surrendering to higher powers, right?

Some people just can’t be happy unless they’re hating on someone else thriving. I think demon hunters were a fantastic addition to the game. Blizzard really nailed the class fantasy, they bring the lore to life in exactly the same way death knights did back in wrath. Every time I see a DH cast Fel Rush or Blade Dance I always have a visual sense that I’m looking at someone possessed, barely able to repress a demonic presence!
The haters see something so aptly designed and have to convince themselves it’s not all that special. I think if we got a flight-form then the FOMO would get so bad that they’d have to bite the bullet, roll a DH, and take the risk of actually enjoying something in the game after years of denying themselves a good time

To be a bit correctional, Warlocks took stuff from the DH’s page Not the other way around.
Not to mention Warlocks Purposes are more Nefarious compared to a Demon Hunter.
Because Illidan being the First of Many Demon hunter’s with a goal To kill every demon with their own power. (including Sargeras, a Titan.)
But there’s nothing saying Both can’t have an ability with the same name, and different purposes for each class. Honestly if warlocks get that ability back, it should buff their entire shadow spell kit much like Dh’s metamorphosis.

Except when it comes to playable characters, locks were here long before DH.
They were done so dirty, and you know it =P They are the ones that sacrificed everything!

Yeah this whole post sounds an awful lot like others I’ve seen along the lines of mages complaining they can’t turn into a raven, like Medivh or Khadgar. There were several people on wowhead spamming that very complaint when they came out with the new druid travel forms a few months ago. Forgetting it was the staff they both carried and not just them. “I want I want I want!!” * /e plops down, pulls socks off and throws them down *
