I want to be able to DECLINE quests like Sound Defense etc

I hate having to leave these sit unaccepted or having to accept and then abandon these zone invasion quests. Just let me decline them like any other.

Not easily done for someone like me who finishes every quest they could find during the start of an expac.

I don’t get it, takes 1 second to accept it and forget it.

Yea one second to click decline but then another couple seconds to click the right side window that then again pops up the quest window that you have to again click decline…

There are quests you can’t decline but will stay in your quest log, because unlike assault quests, they don’t expire.

And every time you pass through that zone it will come back for you to have to remove it again.

Not really a difficult concept to grasp. I don’t hold on to quests I am not going to do but these force the player to accept, which is the issue.

I actually agree with OP. This crap is pretty annoying.

Also, I wish there was an option to keep those stupid dialogue boxes permanently off so they never even pop up. /coughscrollsageannoyingcough

There’s an addon that gives you that options, I think it’s called bequiet. I haven’t gotten around to installing it, but people swear by it.

And how about we can have the option of turning off something we’re never going to do? Like, for instance, Khadgar’s head in my Legion class hall trying to nag me to repeat Balance of Power on my many same spec characters, even though it would be a total waste of time for me to repeat that wretched content for ZERO REWARD.

It even shows up when I’m in Eastern Plaguelands near the Pally class hall. WTH, devs?

And… The “you can change your essences in any rested area”. Hello? How many times do you think I need to dismiss that before I’ve absorbed it? Do they think we’re that stupid?

if the quest reward scaled with ilvl like world quests do then sure, however yeah at this point i am not interested in all the work an invasion takes for a 370 piece.

Vendor trash. But twice I’ve had corrupted gear pop on a level 117 looting an air supply chest. I’m like, wut?

well they could keep the auto accept pop up but still give a decline option but add in an npc that in the event someone removes or otherwise gets rid of the quest we can simply go ask them and reacquire it on our terms

id prefer that over the endless annoyance of it trying to force the quest to be accepted I mean come on Blizzard if I wanted to play a game and being constantly bombarded with endless spam and annoying popups id run over to Facebook

Or a “declined quest” box somewhere in our interface panel. Right click a quest to make it appear again.

Whenever it pops up just click it so it shows the quest then hit escape…it works for me
