I just accept the quest, then untrack it and ignore.
Itâs the way it is so people donât accidentally decline and not be able to participate in the limited time event.
At least thatâs my guess. Takes no time to accept and move on with your life. Click untrack if you have OCD.
Or, instead of having it pop up on your screen, there could be a quest-giver who offers it. But NOT the kind who follows you around and wonât go away until you do accept it, I hate those jerks.
Accept and Untrack?
Thatâs the reason. Otherwise you could complete the world quests but not get credit toward the assault quest, thus being unable to complete the scenario at the end. At least those expire though.
Why canât I decline the allied race quest that pops up on every character when they hit 120? Do they think after the first time people are going to think grinding out all those reps to get zero extra reward is going to be so much fun theyâll be sorry they missed out on the opportunity to repeat it a dozen times?
Itâs just lazy programming that Khadgarâs head nagged my druids at the Lightâs Hope Chapel flight point while they were in Eastern Plaguelands farming Rivendareâs Deathcharger.
OP, you WILL do what the devs tell you to do. Even if they have to pop it on your screen a thousand times.
A thousand times? I have 40 characters at level 110+. I didnât buy BfA until 8.2.5. Iâve probably seen Khadgarâs head hundreds of thousands of times passing through my class halls.
Did it make me want to repeat balance of power? Or did it make me hate alliance, mages, devs, and stupidly long questlines? Iâll let readers guess that.
Hint: when I leveled a character to 60 in classic I did so mostly by grinding mobs. Guess why.
