I want Fish People as an Allied Race for the Alliance

This is what I want for an Allied Race. Instead of two reskin races with terrible concept ideas. I think the Alliance should get something unique and better since the Horde is getting something unique and original than being another reskin allied race. Like the Vulpera for example for the Horde

Ankoan look very cool and the kind of Jinyu like that is unique but Better looking under the sea. I hope Ankoan becomes an Allied race for the Alliance. I wouldn’t mind seeing Fish People wearing a Alliance Tabard anyday than another race very few people will play as or just another pointless allied race for the Alliance Faction in general.

I’m all about unique looking races- the more monstrous the better.

Any time someone asks for more character customization I will be there, lurking in the back, casting my vote in favor.

Aquatic races seem pretty dope imo :+1:

I don’t think fish people would be a playable race though they are pretty cool and can use some work on.

I don’t think they’re going to be an allied race, but alliance could definitely use some more races that aren’t just humans or elves of varying heights and girths.

I’d love to know how they came up with these guys when allied races are such a selling point for this expansion, only to decide that they shouldn’t be one.

I support Playable Horde Hozen, just because they ookem in da dooker. What ever that means.

Well we still don’t know for certain if Horde will get Vulpera the support is indeed strong but so far every allied race we’ve gotten have been a slight evolution of the core race pretty much same thing different hat but I would welcome it if 8.2 started going off the rails with this.

Sethrak would be even better, but they seem unlikely given their lack of reputation and story development after 8.0, not to mention how neutral Vorrik is, and how evil the Faithless are.

Ankoan only have 1 model. They simply swap the armor on top of that single model.

They also don’t have a female model.

Development’s gotta start from somewhere. You should see how limited Kul Tiran varieties were back when they were just NPCs. The men only had two faces and a very sparse array of animations.

Kul Tirans had a LOT of models back then. The only things they really added were a few female faces, a couple male faces, and female jewelry, then the animations. Everything else was there from the start.

The Men still only have a couple faces, that’s just the way they are. The animations were because they are an entirely new rig.

Ankoans use the Night Elf rig.
