When is the pre-patch! I am so tired of Wrath! I would also love to do other expacs beyond that again! Especially Legion! Bring it on!

Many people are still enjoying wrath and because you’re tired of wrath you want to kill the fun for all those people?
i dunno how the hell you’re even tired of the game when the game isn’t forcing you to do anything! you can just randomly login to have fun doing what so ever but if you hate wrath for w/e reasons then take a break and wait till they release the expansion you’re waiting for.

Unironically, Shadowlands with 9.2.5 QOL straight away, will make it a really good xpac
I’ve played through Shadowlands like I lost my left nut. Nerded the heeeck out of it. I loved it ngl. It had some core system issues, but as far as content goes, it was great imho.
- unlock all Gast wings
- Lego 100% drop chance
- adjusted aoe caps
- Season 3 balancing
- Slightly reworked Pride affix (once reach 100%, just action button to summon, rather than at 100% automatically)
- Free cov swaps.
- Stronger/faster Renown catch up + that heirloom mailing item.

I know right though I would say legion more so might stick to mop but only if and when they make clear where the buck stops.
So eager to get to the funeral expansion.

While I find this somewhat ironic in the Classic-series vein of being Classic, I also definitely see the appeal for other future expacs like Legion.
I also kind of wish that there was a somehow separate Arenas game that was able to both let players playing any version of the game cross-realm-game-faction team up, and have some level of balance (within reason) such that people who enjoy arenas didn’t have to additionally play through other content that they may not wish to.
An example of this might be playing a class, like say a hunter in WoW Classic: SoD, and earning honor that you could then use to purchase starter Wrath Classic Arena gear/honor gear (which of course could only be used in the Arenas or Arena waiting room area.
Perhaps to give “balance” you would have access to set up your “arena” spec (which could be based on that expansion, or whichever is current for the time) in the Arena waiting room area, where you could also purchase enchants for your gear, perhaps through special arena point or honor point vendors or through a shared AH (though gold would obviously get confusing).
Anyway, maybe that’s too hopeful for Arenas, but I think it’d be fun.
