I want a guild for people who like listening to Pusha T and Phoebe Bridgers songs

The vibes I’m going for.

Very cool!

I’d join but I was abducted, taken to a black site and deprogrammed to ensure I would stop playing on MG and WrA :sleepy:

prefer my boy Aesop sorry

I’m old and idk what that is but I believe in you and wish you luck :v::sparkles:

Fellow ancient here. Those are definitely words put together in a sentence. But I too wish them all the luck.

Gen X here and I don’t really listen to much past the 90s so I have no idea what this is.

Pusha T is a semi relevant rapper, bigger back in the earlier 2000s with a few hits. He’s big in the rap/hip hop scene to those growing up with music in that time.

Phoebe Bridgers is huge with the millennial gen z goth emo crowd. Her genre spans that through into indie rock and her progressive political stances cement her into relevancy that could span her likely to be decades long career in the industry. Only 1 studio album to her name, she finds longevity in her celebrity with the help of established scene workers like Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes and her fellow newcomers to the popular indie scene Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker.

hello as someone who had no idea, thanks.

I never thought I’d be the age that I find it hard to find and listen to new music, but here I am.

I love new music!! New to some, new to you, new to me!

Yeah, my kids suggest things and I usually hate it. I am generally really selective when it comes to music anyway.

I’m an mid age millenial but I still listen to new music. I just think sometimes I’m in a bubble with what is relevant or in the mainstream since I don’t listen to the radio, use streaming services or w/e but also because there’s so much out there I’m always finding new old music :v::sparkles: I just don’t listen to as much music as I used too.

I have an extensive CD collection along with a humble vinyl and cassette collection. If you ever want to know how to rip physical media or how to obtain mp3s hit me up. I’ve noticed outside my music nerd circle of friends this is becoming lost information and I’m happy to share.

I’m always bummed when I see someone say, oh no my favorite artist isn’t on streaming platform anymore and totally lost on how to rip or obtain their own music files. I don’t have anything against streaming, it’s a great way to discover stuff but I like to know my music won’t just disappearing when a contract or label change occurs yknow.

Oh this sounds like my jam :sparkles:

Lets all watch this Phoebe Bridgers music video if we don’t know what this person is talking about. Take my hand  and lets have a new musical experience

I watched it after not knowing this person. I guess it was ok. Music about interpersonal strife doesn’t really resonate with me because I am a weird loner. But the video was nice. It featured scooters

I was going to link a pusha t song too but the ones I listened to involved forum inappropriate words.

Anyway personally I feel like I understand the sort of guild OP is looking for more now. You can too if you watch this scooter music video

This Targaryan lady has a great voice but I still haven’t decided if it’s my cup of tea

What kinda music do you like chonga

Some of my favorite songs from my favorite artists but add in a lot of classic 60s and 70s

I’ll sometimes dab into more “pop/hip-hop” artists like Lil Nas X Frank Ocean and Missy Elliot

I’m not into the big hair rock bands etc but Fiona Apple is one of my favorite artists of all time. It took fetch the bolt cutters for me to really dive into her discography but she’s a genius.

Putting a Bowie song up there and it’s Blackstar is kind of a war crime.

Of course I like older Bowie but Blackstar is great. I go through so many emotions when listening to it or seeing the video. It’s his final goodbye.

Most definitely. I’ve loved her since her “When the Pawn” album came out. Extraordinary Machine is my personal favorite of hers.

There is nothing about this that stands out to me. She’s a modern Volkswagen.
