I wanna cry

All 3 specs at the bottom, just sad.

But Goreaxe said outlaw rogue #2 top dps! :frowning:

Like I said before this is a repeat of MoP.

The first major patch which is not even on the PTR as that is the anniversary event patch will bring the most changes. They can do hotfixes to damage but that isn’t going to be enough.

It’s disgusting is what that is.

I wonder if this is why I can’t get invited to groups.
Or maybe it’s a complete lack of any utility that anyone cares about.
Or maybe it’s having the absolute worst self-sustain in the game and the healers don’t feel like babysitting a rogue.

Or maybe it’s just the combination of all three being true.

Maybe rogues should be doing top dps to compensate for those things that you mentioned?

Like I said before the double Feint charge was a band aid solution. The other one was the PVP side with the CloS talent which was nerfed during DF.

So at this point shroud and double Feint isn’t a good selling point in my view. Most other classes and specs have now CloS equivalents on shorter CDs and bring more utility.

:surfing_man: :surfing_woman:

Yeah and actual AOE stops that work, don’t cost resources, and have better cooldowns too. Not to mention they just swing their weapons and heal themselves (our small bit of sustain we had [leeching poison] was nerfed, and Recuperator [afaik] is still bugged). We’re a liability and don’t even bring anything useful…all while being literal bottom-tier at dps as well.

“Sad” and “Disgusting.”

Uh huh.

Getting bent out of shape because of overall damage charts is wild.

It’s not though. Other classes bring a lust or a brez or a battle shout or a dmg-reduction or a PI or a Vampiric Embrace or a utillity stop that works or a dispel or a totem that dispels or an Ancestral Guidance or multiple combinations of the above. What do we bring - a raid buff, in a poison, that no one cares about and pathetic last on the dps charts? You’d fit in great in the class discord though, where “Everything is fine” is their motto…and anyone that even attempts to go against that motto is flamed, mainly by moderators that no longer even main a rogue because of how bad it’s gotten.

Damage is what Rogues should deliver but they do not.

how many of you actually does mythic raids

That’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it. I just think it’s wild people keep grouping all rogue specs together. Sin jumps from 24th to 7th going from overall to damage to bosses.

If that makes you so sad you want to cry; then I personally think something is wrong with you. Outlaw and Sub need help, but as Emperpaws said…how many of you even do content at the level any of this matters?

WoW players being typically melodramatic…

Whether or not you play in that mode the class you play will be balanced around it. So what happens in it is relevant.

Though I am admittedly not super concerned.
Our damage is good on bosses which is what matters.

Our raid utility is what’s lacking. And given that, it is a legitimate question to ask why we aren’t dps monsters comparatively.

lol…this is what you got?

No one is crying.

  • We just want some attention like the other classes and specs get attention.
  • We want our energy regen and gameplay brought into this decade, not to remain stagnant in decades past.
  • We want our group utility to exist and not “only be that extra slot” that people pick up if there’s an extra slot
  • We want our bugs fixed, or at least acknowledged

Ya know, we want to feel recognized in the game we pay to play and that we love.

Wanting these things isn’t “crying” - it’s just wanting to play the game on an even footing as anyone else, regardless of difficulty. Coming in, stirring the pot, and telling people they’re “crying” in an otherwise-productive thread is part of the issue. Just stop man.

To give an example…I’m 2283 io currently. My ilvl is 611. My highest Grim Batol is a 6. I spent over 4 hours queueing into 7 and 8 Grim Batols yesterday. I watched endlessly as it was filled by a lust or a brez or some other group utility that the party leader wanted.

I mean it’s not even “a brez” groups want now. It’s “a brez for in case the guy with the brez dies.” Why? Because rogues (who bring nothing) don’t do better dps than that ret paladin who brings an extra brez. It’s an uphill battle that we’re fighting to be brought into the current decade. Step aside if you must, but stop standing in the way.

Blizzard jumped the gun on the rogue nerfs with normal and heroic parses. It’s hard to understand why a ret paladin can have more dps and tool kits than rogues. It’s a sign blizzard wants rogues deleted from this game. >.<

kinda like how they nerf outlaw based on week one heroic and normal logs? Is that what you call balancing around the top 0.1% lol. If what you claim is true, we would expect across the board rogue buffs just based on the first few weeks of mythic logs right?

im sure its gonna happen

Yeah there’s absolutely nothing to be learned from that data right?

The title of the post is literally “I wanna cry.”

You also say things like “We just want some attention like some other classes…” Aside from perceived attention, do you really think other classes forums are swimming in interaction and communication from devs?

Besides jumping on the recent bandwagon of posts on energy, there is nothing to suggest that the current energy issue is the most significant. There are tons of other issues from bugs to stealth to fundamental rotations being both high effort and low reward.

This isn’t to say rogues don’t have problems. I am just tired of people being so melodramatic over what are much smaller and more nuanced issues than people wanna pretend for some reason.

You have a good io and ilvl, and yet you yourself are complaining about trying to pug keys early in the season. GET A GUILD. Your not getting invites not because of where the rogue class is currently, you’re not getting invites because you’re going about it in an entirely silly way.

You’re also just being silly complaining about utility in keys when we finally have jumper cables back.

Lmao… they hit Outlaw Rogues with a nerf based off of normal difficulty raid data week one when every other class had no gear. This is the result. Assuming this means Death Knight, Warrior and Shaman are next? Or does this logic no longer apply?
