I waited almost 4 weeks with an open ticket

Absolutely unreal. If I were to do this at my job, I would get fired.

If I may ask - what was your issue? If it wasn’t a billing or something on the account only a GM can do, you’ll find people are happy to try and help.

You got an answer yesterday. While you can keep your ticket in of course, it very likely is not getting overturned. You did get communications about via email, so your assertion that you got nothing, was also untrue.

That was anything but a cut and paste, Sephrinx - that was a very detailed answer.

Technical issues of that nature - we can only provide so much guidance on. There are simply too many parameters and possible hardware issues involved.

In times of high ticket queues, they will pull batches of tickets from certain categories and give a response with some self-help options. Many tickets are solved this way, because that is the answer. Quest help, achievement credit, etc. are not things a GM can help with.

If it didn’t help you, then you are told to re-open the ticket.

I see you have two tickets open - I’m afraid we cannot help with either one, Excaliburr.

The AH is an open market. Anyone can list anything - for anything they like.

It’s up to you to make a decision to buy it or not.

I understand you are new, and you feel this was just a mistake - but that’s not something we can do. We cannot - and will not - step into an AH sale.

That is not the email I see on this account from 10/19 - Sephrinx. That’s the last ticket I see open on the account you are posting with, and the last response.

The current status is closed.

EDIT: The person who replied to my ticket involved Diablo 2 is wonderful and were able to solve me issue - I forgot to close that one.

I’m not finding anything in particular on that one being bugged Sephrinx. Doesn’t mean it couldn’t be - but it may not have made our reports yet.

GMs can’t ‘fix’ bugs - that’s why you were asked to report it in the bug forum. You can also report bugs ingame.

They also can’t give game hints - why anything quest related, you are also usually directed to other resources for more information.

Since you mentioned a portal specifically being absent this could also be a phasing issue.

If you have any uncompleted quests in that area, I’d finish them. That may also include some chains you may have picked up and abandoned before finishing. Phasing issues can be a little tricky.

I’m sorry you seem to feel that way - with a Blue talking right here in this thread and so many others to try and help folks. There is also the player base, many of us who hang around here and are equally happy to help.

I’m not sure what you’re basing your theories on here? The supposed eight years or any of it. They had to take out the phone line because people were misusing it and the people whose issues could be solved via that line could rarely get through due to the misuse. Tickets are answered 24/7. Live chat is normally available but due to the current anomaly of the wait times, they’ve had to redistribute folks to try and get the ticket queue whittled down.

Was it fun having a GM contact you in game? Of course it was. But those interactions made response times slower. While people dislike having no direct interactions like that, normally, things moves so much faster with things streamlined. Yes, it can be irritating when someone wants to create a ticket and the system makes it difficult in the cases where a ticket is unnecessary. There are some things that cannot be solved by tickets. GMs don’t resolve bugs, Devs do. But Devs don’t answer tickets. GMs cannot generally just give quest/achievement credit or game hints and the like - there are plenty of resources out there for anyone who takes the time to try and resolve something on their own. Players think that GMs can act without impunity and can handwave anything because of that very outdated concept of “the customer is always right!!!”, but while they do try and do whatever they can to help, for the most part, they are bound by the limitations set by The Powers That Be.

So if you’d like to offer up anything to back what you’re suggesting, let’s do this in a thread of your own, so as to not hijack someone else’s thread. And no, the reddit rabble and streamer links are not valid. Let’s see some legitimate articles and such.

hey uh, since we got some blueposts, my problem is super easy to solve. but ive got a 23 day que left and Ill end up loosing some heirloom gear on wrath classic. just open my ticket click some buttons and restore my toon, BAM happy customer. ill even buy dragonflight if itll nock a few weeks off my wait time

The blues here isn’t able to help, more so as they’re not GMs and don’t handle tickets. You’d need to wait on your ticket.
