It absolutely was and still is. No one just “played a bear.” They spent months doing the challenge.
You want to ask for new skins for the skeleton? Go for it. You’re not getting the prestige reward ones.

Lol. You could walk in with Argus catchup gear and get it practically free. That’s exactly what I did for about half of my challenges and I did them all. I started playing WoW right after legion’s first major patch dropped and still managed that.
Now you can’t, and it’s actually a challenge again. I’d be totally fine giving up all the ones I got easy and having to re-earn them if everyone else had the same opportunity. I’m already slowly working on doing them all again anyway for the transmog and just because I like a good solo challenge.

Thank you but I really just peak at Wowhead and Mmochampion.
Personally new players should be happy they have the opportunity to get just the one form. I always wanted the mount from doing the timed dungeons in pandarea and never got it, and there is nothing in game like it. I say let those that were there and played during that time or did the work have their special thing.

The “Fel Werebear” doesn’t look like a bear to me at all. It looks like something that was designed by somebody who didn’t like bears and thought druids must be tired of them too. I never got it, don’t care at all. I call it the “Furbolgorilla” form.

Like, I’d use 500 tenders to unlock a new Vulpera fur color.

Yeah. If the alternative is not getting customization at all then I’d be happy with it going on the trading post.

There are some new icons appearing for the trading post, might need to keep our eyes peeled.

Not every player has been on this game since 2004. I was 12 when Legion was current so no way was I going to get them lol
I still don’t care about the Mage Tower. I see flying book mounts and druid werebears absolutely nowhere. Just like that BfA store mount that looks like a worm and flies to different realms in SL.

No. Time sensitive is time sensitive. Bears should be thankful they got the compromise in the first place, which is justified given the reasoning. But not the other ones.

Got all 36 mage towers done in legion and the old rewards should come back. Late legion mage tower was a joke that I did in lfr gear + 2 legendaries for most of my alts. Its harder now with less rewards. And this is in the context of having gotten all the class sets and fel bear with the new mage tower as well skipped the feat of strength because it was harder this time and didn’t want to buy drums and consumables for a feat.
I really don’t get people who go full stockholm for fomo junk. Being able to unlock things to collect is wow bread and butter content and having more of that available for newer players is a solid way to improve the game at large.

I kind of wish one the beast specs was like a fury warrior were bear. I’d play a Druid for that.
Exactly how I feel about AOTC mounts being locked multiple expansions down the road. Or that stupid, awesome, season changing tree mount.
more options and ways to obtain things is a plus so yes. it don’t matter anyway since blizz is already giving out mounts that was supposedly never to be released again lol
I wish i could have a go at the Mage Tower stuff. By the time I was geared and skilled enough to try, they had closed them. Sadness.
But anyway, i hope they add that stuff to the trading post at some point.
