We never defend the Crossroads now because there’s no one attacking it. There’s no one attacking it because there’s no one leveling through it. And if there is (for either) we’re not going to see it.

This right here is just astounding to me. So is changing the Tarren Mill/Southshore zone IMO. When you have a magical nexus of players and activity for both factions don’t change it.

No doubt alliance and horde have both taken a hit, although the alliance is especially in a weakened place right now.

Despite this I still think WRA can be a ripe place to build something special.

Imagine if they added the BFA invasion mechanics to OG PVP zones like Hillsbrad, Barrens and basically all the ones that got hit with Legion invasions during pre-patch. That alone could probably help revitalize WPVP in older content. Yet Blizz’s whole method of abandoning old expansions and content for the new and shiney means that would never happen.
