I think it's time to make multi boxing against the rules

Or, they should do what most modern games do, and make them all instanced to the player. I don’t see why we need to fight over these things.

That’s basically saying homelessness is a problem in florida. So we should send some homeless people to Georgia.

This is not a solution. It is a band-aid. They shouldve never reduced the spawn rate of zinanthid, but it is irrelevant to the fact that multi-boxers destroy an economy.

I think then this is the case of the toxicity of some players. Perhaps we can all acknowledge that multi-boxers get a terrible rep because of the jerkish few, while 90% of them are off doing their own thing.

I would love to see your literature proving this in anything else but lowering the price of consumables and maybe boe mounts.

All your idea would do is bottleneck particular resources and allow people like me to gouge crafters like mad by using my excessive liquid gold to control the market. I literally make millions of gold at each xpac launch by controlling the gathering market/prices while farming is low and demand for all the new shiny crafts is high.

Then there’s the whole debate on how many taps is the right amount for “legitimate farmers” vs multiboxers. It just won’t work

Oh my god. That was a good point, haha.

Ok so assuming you have any clue how economics or social dynamics works… 5% of the population is dedicating most of their play time to farming. Should we assume that the other 95% is also farming with the majority of their play time??? Should we assume that the other 95% of the community even has gathering professions?? Should we assume that the other 95% of the community that might or might not have gathering professions is gathering to sell on the market rather than to sustain their own/guilds needs??

Hey Truthspeaker, this dude Saeba literally just imagined talking to Feyrre’s “manager” and enjoyed the idea of getting them fired. So, you gonna reevaluate your whole anti-Karen stance now that you’ve defended the biggest one in the room? Or maybe just reevaluate your overuse of that meme. Maybe stick to when it’s actually appropriate.

How much gold do you have, I have roughly 10 mill in liquid right now, the rest is invested into merch, just curious if you know how to make gold in the first place, because if you don’t you probably don’t know how the economy in wow works and therein probably don’t understand or know what multiboxers do just as well as how much if any they’re affecting the economy on one specific realm. Btw I’ve spent 10 mill on tokens for time and other games in the last 6 months as well as have around 30 mill in merch.

pvpers partaking in pvp isn’t ‘trolly behavior’, and players camping nodes/spawn points is also not ‘trolly behavior’.

Being ganked/corpse camped for hours is on you. Players camping individual spawn points for resources is usually a part of farming said resource. (Or in the case of rare spawns part of rare hunting)

Have you shopped at wal mart recently? What happens when you can pay a bunch of children below minimum wage to mass produce things… I would rather not hunt down exact articles defining supply and demand and how certain groups have been taken advantage of to mass produce certain things driving the market down. But if it really comes down to it. I will find some for you…

Well, then I suppose I’ll accept my responsibility for being ganked for hours on end. There’s nothing else I can do apparently. This way, we avoid a big debate.

Bro has gotta be careful. He has said a few things in this thread alone that could be flagged for forum rules.

Right, you have 10 mil because you sell runs. The only reason you are able to sell runs for such a high price is because of the existence of the WoW token. The gold you are making is literally not even real gold. It wouldnt exist in the first place is people couldn’t buy it with real life money.

A guild farming together can do just as much damage.

As someone else said—it is a jerk problem and a Blizzard implementation problem.

It’s also a problem of people being super salty that they can’t mindlessly farm herbs to get a long boi and need to diversify and learn to AH and scapegoating all multiboxing players because of a small minority.

Economy is not identical to ingame as it is in life, go and look up a mog right now, go and look up a boe, go look at consumables and their price fluxuation between when a new tier/expansion releases, or even just look at it’s fluxtuation every tuesday when people reset the market to price gouge. Real life doesn’t change as sudden and in such big gaps as wow. If you’re really trying to compare the two this just proves to me you have no idea what you’re talking about just like that unqualified teacher.

So what actually counts as trolly behavior?

She turned down coffee with me, and I’m a real treat, so at the end of the day, it’s her loss.

I haven’t sold a single carry this expansion and is the majority of my gold, don’t make assumptions.

Strictly from the first 6 months of bfa and in lower quantity I’ve accrued well over 30 mill that I then reinvested or bought tokens and games with or mounts/pets.

If I have it on I’m usually looking to kill, I’ll happily kill the same person over and over again even if they’re half my level

Some people just don’t care what their prey is
