It seems to me that they no longer are trying to gain subs. The goal right now looks to monetize the diehards and the addicted so they buy tokens for carries and to level crafting. Token sales are worth way more than new subs after all. Open you eyes and you will see many folks saying they buy several tokens a month because they work too much, these are the new target players not the 1 sub players that buy nothing extra.

This is the absolutely the wrong direction to go, and will relegate this game to the status that Everquest is in. The only way to bring up those sub numbers is to add even more elves. In fact, Blizzard could have the void lords cast a curse over the entire Azeroth non elven population that turns them into random elves, and then they must complete a very long quest chain, as well as getting reputation up to exalted with 6 different factions in order to return to their normal race. This seems like the best thing to do, just saying.

Cat girls and bunny boys.

Some of the most fun I’ve had in PvP is chopping big bad Orc and Tauren Warriors up using a female Gnome spamming /giggle. I think doing the same with a cat girl would be that same kind of fun, greatly amplified.
