I think I saw saw a hack or an exploit

Oh yes it is.

Facilitation of Gameplay.

Wrong

“Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our Terms of Use.”

It’s a shame this is wrong, because the devs and company decide the rules. Not you.

For what it’s worth, it’s probably an anomaly. I’ve leveled several characters opted into WM on both sides and never seen a boxer.

I’ve been playing the majority the game’s been around and seen maybe one boxer for about each year. Probably half of them were just farming nodes.

Why do these people always think facilitation means anything other than what it actually means.

Yes it is.

Some light background reading

Silly Alliance Druid thinking you could keep up with a mighty Horde Druid.

Nah, this ain’t how it works sadly. Blizz announced it wasn’t against the rules so it isn’t. Blizz can do whatever they like it’s as simple as that.

Botting is cheating. Multiboxing isn’t botting.

Do you think it’s cheating when a little old lady at church bingo plays multiple cards at a time?

But the player majority uses bots in order to multibox for a financial advantage. Pay to win.

Of course, Blizzard is going to say “oh its not againt TOS”. But take a moment to think WHY they might say that.

$$$$$$$$$

Well that’s a terrible analogy.

Old Nana Poppits isn’t sitting there spotting a single card whilst her 4 other cards are simultaneously being spotted with the same hand.

I personally appreciate multiboxers, they’re like artifacts of an age old past when being a geek was considered uncool.

Activision-Blizzard makes billions a year. Multiboxing doesn’t even register at that scale.

So no, it is not allowed “because money”. It is allowed because Blizzard views it as an interesting way to play the game. That’s all there is to it.

Because “using a program” isn’t considered cheating. Otherwise they’d have to ban everybody who uses a peripheral to play this game. Which would mean everyone who has ever played this game.

This is not how multiboxing works.

Each character performs a single action in response to a single button press.

That is what I said… 1 button press equals one cone of cold, and each lock firing a chaos bolt.

Nice bait, happy Sunday folks, here’s your weekly QQ about boxing.

And yet another MB thread. How exciting.

what is a sealion i mean besides the animal?

I see them as the same. :woman_shrugging:

They’re both playing a game they love how they want to and it’s costing me $0 to let them have their fun.

I don’t see multiboxxing as cheating because they can indeed be killed. Identify the head of the multiboxer, kill that first, it doesn’t last long but it causes a bit of disruption so you can kill another. Always try to focus on the head.

judging from that sentence, it sounds like you know absolutely nothing about how multiboxing works. Maybe do some basic research first, then maybe you can come back with a solid argument.
