Imagine some one hacks into the game and makes it so they can one shot anyone in a BG. You report them and blizz tells them “Hey, give us an extra $15 and we’ll let it slide”. you pay blizz more money than would be normal. because you spend more money, you get massive economic advantage over players that do not spend more money. you increase supply, directly and negatively impacting people who do not buy multiple accounts. increased supply lowers the value of goods on the market and thus lowers the value of the normal players time and efforts in game to make gold. the token is money. it has real world value outside of the game. thus, if you buy tokens with gold, to…
