I bought a $20.00 BNet Balance Card and added it to my account thinking I could restart my sub. I just found out you can’t use that for subs (Wish I knew that before I added it)
I could buy a token for it for game time but since I do not have an active sub, I can’t even get into game to do that.
Any suggestions on what I can do, or am I just out of luck?
You can use Bnet balance to buy game time from the store. You just can’t use it for a re-occuring Subscription.

You can use your battle.net balance to buy it 
Tokens purchased with money can only be posted on the AH for gold.
Tokens purchased with gold can be used to add game-time or to increase your Blizzard Balance.
If you don’t have an active sub, but enough gold for a token, you can purchase one and use a token from the character selection screen. You’ll only have the option if you have enough gold.
As Mirasol and Perl pointed out, you can use the Balance you purchased to buy a block of game time, just not for a recurring sub.
