I transferred 2 of my toons from PvP to PvE, and now i may regret it…
I am East Coast and the server is West Coast, I read that most start Raids for Guilds at around 8-9 pm which is way to late for me being 3 hours ahead of that. Raids are not my main thing for TBC, so when I did the transfer I knew it was a West Coast, but now it is bothering me a bit… In case I did find a cool guild that Raids.
The biggie… I am mainly into Arenas and PvP, I could care less for Wpvp on Classic servers, because its not like it use to be back 15 years ago. Now something I did not check and I did read about today after the Transfer, is that Original TBC had Battlegroups of several Servers, giving us more players to Arena pool for ques.
What I did find out is for Classic there was no Battlegroups, and they assume the same for TBC Classic. I checked the recent PvP notes, But I did not find anything stating this for TBC Classic.
Seeing it is a PVE Server I just hope Arena ques will not be stale. Thoughts ?
You were reading stuff from 2007. In classic currently all bgs are linked. In the Dev q/a they talked about using the modern retail percentage system rather than the old battlegroup system for arena
I knew it is a West Coast Server, but the main thing is or was, is que times for Arenas or would they be inactive. But if what Zuggerino said is true then im good.
No battlegroups like in late vanilla through BC. Blizzard anticipated that the servers would empty out after a certain period. When that happened, there wouldn’t be enough players in separate battlegroups.
