I like the organizer on the right. Keeps the clutter down. Pretty neat and clean!

That was what my sister was remarking on when she sent that particular pic to me. He does look cute! He’s surprisingly big too!

A few months ago, my sister got covid and was quarantined, so when I took some soup and things up for her to leave on her porch, she came to the window to wave at me. She motioned for me to wait, and she disappeared for a few moments. When she came back, she was holding Timone, to show him to me. I had only ever seen pictures of him and couldn’t believe how big he is.

You’re so very welcome. I enjoy your shares! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

How do you guys take the pics so you can post them online…yikes, that actually sounded like a “hey, google” question. I’ll figure it out and send pics.

Do you ever feel claustrophobic? I bought my house in part because of how much nice bright light comes in.

I use the camera on my cell phone usually, or a digital camera. The first one of Willow sitting in the sun was taken with a Kindle Fire 10 that was an xmas present. My first tablet!

To post I just go to imgur upload and drop them in there. No account needed. Then you can link the photo to whatever site you want it visible on. You need TL 3 to get them to display on the forum though, I think.

We lived out on property for 20 years. I designed the house and we built it little by little. My son’s grew up there. I designed it with light in mind and it was a gorgeous view of the Sonoran desert. Then 2009, a super ill husband, breast cancer and now I’m in a mobile home park. Not really a sad story when everyone I love is here. Point is, out there the light was fine - in the city I didn’t discover black out blinds and drapes for two years and my body literally couldn’t go to sleep because of all the city light pollution. Still can’t sleep without them. Out on the property with normal sun/ moon light my body was fine.

A few observations:
Wired mouse, good choice, a wireless mouse is an answer to a problem that never existed, I never had a problem with cord getting in way. Also: You are facing the door, I am same way, nobody is gonna come up behind me while I’m camping the sha of anger. I hate surprises. Roku remote, nice… same here… love Plex app.

2 questions: That purple and white thing under monitor on left, does everyone except me have one of those? If I had a dollar for every time I saw one at friends house and picked it up to play with it, and how do you easily switch between 3 monitors with one keyboard and mouse? I couldn’t find easy way with 2 monitors.

Anyhow, nice setup. I don’t see WoW mousepad though, I got one for Christmas but its from MoP. Still cool though.

You mean this?

It’s all connected to the same PC, so the mouse just moves between monitors, the same way a super-wide screen would, I’ve trained myself to ignore the gutters between screens.

I’ve had that Portal 2 gamepad for nearly 5 years, I think, so no need for a new one.

You almost moved me. One of the best posts ever.
My desk is quite basic. Video, keyboard, mouse, printer and scanner (I need a scanner to handle boring real life documents). Nothing else visible, I like it clean. A window shows me mostly other houses, and a bit of sky. White curtains, very traditional, like most everything.
Excluding the desk, style is very cozy, much like an old fashioned granny. As much wood as possible. Lots of books, and comics, everywhere, but not in a messy way. An old chair, with a good cushion for the back.

But no back problem for Goodberry. I want that treasure. Stealthed, I maneuver till I am right above the chest. I grab it, the zillion mobs would want to make mincemeat of me, but I vanish and jump into the lake. On the small beach, I pick the lock and open the chest. The usual lousy token to dump into the Reservoir. Oh well, it was fun anyway.

In this world, I smile and sip my coffee. Outside, it starts raining. Fine, I am in the mood for it.

My working area (where the keyboard and mouse is) is organized, the area behind my monitors however is not lol.

I have one cup I use for tea+soda+lemonade+juice, one for coffee, and a 2L mug for water. I suppose all three are my favorite since they are the only ones for each beverage

I have blackout film on my windows and blackout curtains over the tops of those, I live in darkness :smiling_imp: No one can see in and I can’t see out.

My heat is set to 80 degrees and I have a space heater next to me for when I need an extra shot of heat

If ‘content’ were a person it’d be me

You know the ‘single guy home’ stereotype? Where there’s nothing in their home but a tv, couch and bed? Well I replaced the couch with a desk

None.

 Full disclosure I just now figured out/logged into WoW for the first time: I haven’t logged into the game since before Thanksgiving - I think. Khronys would have to help me because my memory gets gaps. Also, I’ve just started building a friend list and since when I’m on it’s early morning and new friend list I’m not used to looking at chat box. Poor Khronys had to find me and jump up and down in front of me for me to notice.

So, just new to the friend thing on Wow, but you screw up once - and with my memory issues and not logging in and not looking at that chat box (cuz I’m not used to it - haven’t done it since my kids stopped playing 5 years ago) you can lose friends. Unless they track you down! lol!!

So, it’s hard for me to make the whole thing work - I guess that’s the thing in pictures and sharing, we still never know the whole picture.

I eat at my desk, don’t have dinner guests so don’t need a table or furniture for them. If I don’t need something I don’t have it :man_shrugging:

A little of both. They’re easier to get out of as I get older and they are way more comfy than a stupid couch, so smart.
