Topper to this one: my wife’s account has literally nothing beyond BfA purchase. So a level 100 boosted human DK and a boosted 110 druid. Can’t remember what race.
Never get flying until 2-3 expansions later. No sweat off my back…/shrug.
You are not alone.
I still don’t have a facebook account.
Was a choice between this or Michael Jackson.
You can unlock the fox people but can do a simple thing like obtain the pathfinders?
Ok, so maybe you shouldn’t play WoW anymore. It’s Just that simple. You’re obviously burnt out. Go play something else until Shadowlands comes out.
Coming here saying “this game is boring, I hate the classes, I hate the content, I hate this explanation” doesn’t do anything. It’s just whining for whining’s sake.
There’s nothing wrong with taking a break from the game. I dos it in WoD and didn’t come back until Argus was a thing in Legion. It was great.
Go do something else and leave the people who actually like the game alone. Nobodies forcing you to be here.
I hear ya man. I just came back and I’m actually not to far from getting it. I just gotta finish exploring drustvar, grind some rep for 3 factions (I’m at about 75% ish for them all, maxed the rest) and I gotta do the quest lines for Sexond part of the war campaign.
It would probably take me a week of playing or two to do this. But right now I’m really enjoying levelling my alt gnome mage.
I don’t know how to feel about getting it right now. I probably will soon since it’s account wide and it will make levelling alts easier. but I dunno…I liked questing on foot. made me actually appreciate the zones, the mobs, favourite areas and neat little hidden caves or moments. You miss a lot of that with flying over everything all the time.
I got Pathfinder Part 2 within 3 weeks of returning. DIdn’t even try very hard either.
Pathfinder is fine. Get over it.
ACKSHOOALLY. Nah. I have lots of 120s and I don’t have PF2 yet. Probably never will. I hate Nazjatar and Mechagon is a junky pile of crap. I may never fly in this expansion, but I really don’t care. If I focus on it, it’s just a negative feedback loop that I won’t pay a sub for, so I play what I want in Azeroth.
Exactly what the problem is. If it was just explore zones fully, finish the story, etc and no rep grinds, I would have 0 problem with Pathfinder. Once you get to the rep grind part, the game pretty much just becomes logging in for like an hour every day to make small amounts of progress because you can’t do anything else in the game until you get flying unlocked. It starts to feel like “why even bother?” once you get to that point, I could be playing another game where I can play and make progress for more than an hour and not be stuck at this dead end wall for like a month or so of just rep grinding.
