I don’t get any slowdown in WoW anymore. It’s such an old game.

The last time I had any slowdown was years ago when I was playing on a crappy Dell computer.

If you’ve got anything modern* (my own PC is getting kinda older now, like 2017) and kitted out, WoW should give you no trouble no matter where you are.

Massive stutters with DF client

i912900k RTX3080 DDR5@5200 Perfectly smooth fps prior to update, 170fps locked nearly everywhere outside of the most strenuous activities. Since the update has been out its near constant stuttering as assets “pop in”. This seems very similar to DX12 compiler issues that plague other games where first exposure to an art assets causes fps stutters.

Stuttering across the entire game was fixed this past Tuesday for me. Everywhere but Valdrakken. Still getting 30-50 fps there and stuttering. Not as bad tho.

But I appreciate you at least being nice about it.

I loved playing SL far more than Disneyflight. Different strokes for different folks, and that’s okay. Not everything in WoW is designed for me personally.

Worthless busy work every week, the maw was terrible, torghast was such a chore I never want to do something like that again, the one raid I bothered doing sucked, and the covenants were trash.

Yup. Agreed. I liked taking alts in Legion when random legendaries dropped, felt fun and a dopamine hit, others hated it… I liked taking my alts through BFA and flying around boralus, others hated BFA…

I think what some people in this game fail to realize is not everyone likes everything and not everyone who dislikes said thing SHOULD QUIT.

I have never once said that you can not be critical of the game. Being upset with the game or expansion as a whole and complaining (note, not criticizing) every single day is trolling. Objectively.
