I didn’t make it long. I got mad because I couldn’t make a nightborne or void elf. Allied races are dumb and the restrictions need to be lifted. I want to play the race I want from the start. Not do all the campaigns on a character that doesn’t matter to me. Whole thing just feels bad.

I guess hitting level 45 and doing a quest line is too much effort for some people.

level 18 is likely to have like… 200 gold, it’s not worth it

Hit 50 unlocked world quest uniting isles. Doing all quests to friendly in every zone.
Broken shore intro and questline.
To unlock argus.
Suramar just needed uniting the isles and another horde character to 45 to unlock.
“A quest line”
Whole thing sucks.

It’s the sound from AoE 3 when you summon a priest
“Wololo” On my way
Remix for proper nostalgia

You can post links from Youtube by the way.
Also Reddit works here too.

I hope my explanation answers your questions
What felt even worse was seeing I couldn’t level in the suramar campaign on a horde character to readily do the race unlock at 50. The zone is 45.
Just a bad experience all around and a lot of time to invest in something to unlock the race you want to play.

If just not being able to pick the race you want is enough to make you feel bad you havent even gotten to the loads of other things that will put you off. I paid for a year of shadowlands and hated myself every day for it. My gametime ran out a day before 9.1.5 the patch that was supposed to “fix everything” well im back just for the valentines event so i can farm a mount for weeks that rarely ever dropped int he first place and now probably cant drop because they changed the name to be less sexual.
But only being back for 6 hours and I see they barely fixed anything with covenants. Who cares that i can swap grateful offerings and everything else in the game is still soulbound rep isnt account wide yet, they still have no idea how to make the game feel fun to play.

“I quit retail today”
to the opening line of “Hurt”
EDIT: you can’t unhear that now, can you?

It’s not that bad to get it. Put a little effort in and earn your reward. I returned in BFA and wanted access to the void elf. I put the time in and earned it.
Also with the comment about quitting retail. You must still be paying and playing classic? So Blizzard is still getting your money.

I would say lvl to 50 in timewalking dungeons but they also ruined that. despite time walking dungeons being lvl 35 monsters you cant que for it till you are lvl 50. Blizzard isnt capable of knowing how to go back and just make their whole game accessible. They have been program from a mindset of “how can we waste peoples time by timegating EVERYTHING” for like 10 years now

Ertle. I’m not sure if this will make you feel better but I’ve unlocked all the Allied races and can play them whenever I like.

If you quit over that you would have quit over plenty of other rewards you have to grind slightly for

I was coming to say congratulations but upon reading the thread - That’s a rather silly reason to uninstall, but eh.
The Allied Races (Arguably aside from Kul’Tirans and Zandalari) are way easier now. Had a friend that did the Nightborne one in a week, so

Yeah it’s one of the most out of touch decisions Blizzard ever made. I remember how excited I was to play a night elf all those years ago after reading and hearing all about them. I can’t imagine how lame it would have been if they were greyed out and had a “MUST PLAY HUMAN AND COMPLETE THIS QUESTLINE AND GET THIS ACHIEVEMENT FIRST” message.
What a lame and unnecessary way to turn off new players that are excited about your game

Allied races were simply a marketing tool and I will to the end of my WoW days think they were a bad idea.
The only requirement for playing a race in WoW should be an active sub. You log on, select the race and create it. That should be all that is required, and all that was required for the majority of WoW’s existence.
And most of them are boring. Draenei that look like Draenei. Taurens that look like Taurens. Various alternate elves. Orcs that look like Orcs. Dwarves that should simply have been appearance options for dwarves. Gnomes that…no, lets not go there, thinking about mechagnomes makes my skin itch. How much better would it have been if they had introduced a couple of really imaginative new races and simply gave them to us as they always did in the past. But no, we needed more grind in the game because we never really have enough of that, do we.

that sure would make people less irritated and want to play the game more…but ‘all muh workz’ screams will surely fill this forum if they allow people to play them.
I believe this account has all the allieds, so I aint got a dog in the race.
just let people play the flippin races.
