It depends. If the guild expects someone to bring consumes, buffs, know their class & basics for the raid and the player just didn’t do those things then the player didn’t hold up their end of the deal.

The few people who post negative feedback are the same people who refuse to acknowledge that gdkp is a major demand driver for RMT and botting. Why would you think that delusional feedback carries any weight with devs?
If you want to find a reason it’s that in the last 10 years or so, the amount of mentally ill groups of thin-skinned soy drinkers has increased by a lot.
Imagine unironically stating that banning an ENORMOUSLY unpopular practice that makes the game worse for everyone except those participating in said behavior is going to decrease player count.
If you like the game enough that you still log in on your geared toons only to make gold through gdkp, then you’re not going to leave. You’ll lament the loss of what was once lucrative access to potentially large sums of purchased gold, but you’ll keep logging in.
No, nor would you as I have some consideration for people I play with. However, if you have stated loot rules and bring someone through your raid without kicking them, and then not give them loot they win a roll for under those rules, you run the risk of being reported for ninja looting. The other advantage to saying it in advance is that people looking for a carry are more likely to leave on their own or otherwise avoid your group.
