I propose a solution to Timewalking

It’s queued content. They intend for a 100% clear rate. That’s why it’s always tuned very low, and gives buffs when you zone in.

The biggest complaints and most threads are being started because of level 11 toons scaling and going crazy… then people complain it’s “ruining their leveling.”

Adding something for max level wouldn’t change that at all.

No they made it easy b/c everyone whined about how it shouldn’t be endgame level hard. The rewards weren’t changing enough on the vendors to justify a continual grind for badges. Once you got what you wanted, the difficulty was pointless, even for leveling alts to slog through in comparison to their typical leveling dungeons.

TW was never difficult content nor ever stated to be difficult content, though the scaling has seen some wild ups and downs over the years.

As a conscious decision. Therefor in the here and now, in the real world where we live, they intend for it to be easy.

It’s available for leveling characters. I don’t know what revisionist history you are aiming for here but it was never difficult. It was never Cata Heroics level difficult, and it wasn’t designed as such.

I’m confused… what problem are folks even talking about?

I don’t, do you? I think you need to read what I suggested and not try to troll.

Yeah, DPS queues suck. I play almost exclusively DPS even on my tank/heal-capable characters. But there’s only one key difference between sitting in a city not-playing the game and following some OP Twink not-playing the game. In both cases I’m not playing the game, but in one of those cases I’m being actively frustrated. And it’s not when I’m sitting in the city.

What you suggested was to segregate the queue for no reason. If people want to not have randoms, they shouldn’t use the RDF.

“the twink is doing the dungeon too fast”
that’s the “problem” these people are encountering. Rather than kick the twink they take to the forums to complain about it, because they know that a vote to kick would never pass because people playing this game want the TW to be over with as quick as possible and twinks facilitate that.

Timewalking dungeons are already heroic, even if only in name and not practice. No need to split the playerbase. Not sure we need a Mythic timewalking either. Does timewalking even need a solution? I’ve not experienced issues with it. (aside from one Panda)

I misremember. Right, of course. And yet, multiple people here recall the bouncing ball of scaling. But fail to remember the whining and wailing that encouraged Blizz to repeatedly scale it back, from the very beginning. Got it. Thanks.

No, it’s understanding the subtle distinction between fun and dopamine. Fun gives dopamine, but not all dopamine is from fun. And the overwhelming majority of gamers have been brain washed to think the opposite.

I think people are mad and claim every dungeon they do there is a level 11 twinked out fury warrior who can solo the whole thing in like 3 minutes.

People are mad they can’t “enjoy the game,” doing a Timewalking dungeon at level 40.

So… the problem is that folks are enjoying their retail power fantasy in retail?

I fail to see how this is a problem. The reality is that folks like doing dungeons fast because it is fun to speed through dungeons. If folks don’t like that, why not start their own groups?
Folks who complain about these things are weird.

Sooo… you want it to be overtired, just without the level 11 carrying you?

Yup. It’s not enough that they can form their own group if they want a slow methodical dungeon, they must inflict their vision of fun onto everyone else.

Maybe he prefers the 20 minute method to the 2 minute method

Yeah I would say the vast majority of us fail to see it as a problem.

The people posting thread after thread about it should just spend their time making a group of like minded people to do them slowly.
