I propose a solution to Timewalking

Make heroic TW dungeons that require level 80 to enter and give better loot. You could do mythic but that might be too much. Then people who really want to experience TW dungeons and play their characters can do so.

Or, y’know, just put XP-off-ers in their own PvE queues like they’re in their own PvP queues.

Parity and solves the problem.

Why? What exactly changes by segregating the player base in content that doesn’t matter exactly? This sounds like “I want to punish people I don’t like!” When the reality is you would just increase queue times for everyone.

There’s your problem right there. All content matters. I play games to have fun. Following some nerd who one-shots everything isn’t fun. Even the people who advocate it don’t find it fun regardless what they say - they just want the rewards for the minimal effort possible to spend (i.e. none).

I will always buy more fun gameplay at the cost of higher queue times. All day. Every day.

That’s called heroic dungeons. We have those already.

Implement modes. Not heroics.

Timewalking dungeons - scaled to hit hard and make you feel you’ve traveled back in time to how difficult the dungeons were supposed to be. Badges for loot at vendor.

Remix dungeons - specifically made for leveling at blast through pace. No badges or currency, just RNG on loot upgrades accordingly.

We do! But people want to segregate themselves. Let them do so. The complaint from these players is “I don’t get to play my character” well this would fix it.

Lol, you get to decide what people think is fun now!

I dunno. As a DPS main that has had to endure some pretty awful queue times in the past…well, good for you on that count, I guess. It’s too “amusement park” for me. I like more consistent fun rather than waiting for sometimes inexplicably long times in between my fun. Especially those times when it says the average wait is 10 mins yet I’ve been in queue for 55.

That’s called not queing random group. Make a party

That would be called heroic…

How about timewalking remain as easy as intended and people get a grip

Except that isn’t fixing the problem, the problem is 1 person thinks their desire (slow dungeons) outweighs the other 4 (in this case faster runs.)

Change the Timewalking queue system or add heroics those people will just find something else to complain about.

Just accept majority rules and that somber the problem.

When you go into LFG and click Heroic Dungeon instead of regular is that making a group?

Heroic is a mode, yes. But scaling to hit harder is pointless if everyone gets the same badges/loot. Then you have ppl crying no one wants to work for their rewards anymore/unfair gearing. Which is why I specified the TW should only reward badges not loot drops. Then buy whatever fancy cosmetic or reward on vendor.

Remix just drops loot like regular dungeon, not badges.

The problem that only a minority of players actually think is a problem, otherwise you’d just votekick the twinks and solve the problem yourselves.

No. Do you struggle to understand how the RDF works?

It wasn’t intended to be easy. Do you remember when it first came out? It was hugely OP. Until they removed the level caps and started mixing level 30s with endgame players and scaling everything down, it was a grind.

made it easy, because they intend for it to be easy.

Just vote kick the twink. Simple solution.

Or queue with like-minded individuals that want to dungeon crawl.
