what is wrong with group finder? idk why so many people don’t like it. It works just fine

It sucks and takes too long to make a group. It also leaves the opportunity to gatekeep by the mouthbreathers.

I have been able to get into groups instantly thanks to the group finder. Meanwhile with RDF it takes several minutes. Not to mention people are more likely to leave when it’s dungeons they don’t like. and you’re just sitting there hoping one joins back. With the group finder, people tend to stick with it longer.

Then just group with bad players if you don’t want to Speedrun dungeons. If you do less damage than the healer I don’t want you.
Besides the group finder has a “new players welcome” button so the gatekeeping you’re talking about is fake news

It works great and if you have trouble with it as a the only class with a brez. I would look inward, i snag druids up like candy

Because it’s geuninely garbage, buggy, and most people make postings just to use the LFG chat, not to actually run dungeons. Not to mention the fact a rogue can queue as healer and a mage can queue as a tank is ridiculous.
Only reason it’s “Working” right now in any capacity is the sheer amount of alts being run around with the 50% exp buff and everyone rolling DKs, of course they picked a good time to release it that would give them the feedback they wanted, just wait till we’re halfway through phase 1 of wrath and no one’s doing jack.

Everyone’s experience is not always the same.
No the gatekeeping is real.
Example - Tanks wanting shard from H MGT will form a group and just not invite any class that should want the shard.
I mean yes it totally happens. There is also currently a huge saturation of plate DPS which definitely exasperates the problem.
If you just fill your group without looking 90% of the time youll end up with 2 dks and a ret/warrior.

Maybe blizzard should allow chat without having to list a group considering you are in the channel by default.
It doesnt work, because the community doesn’t work. You’ve all become to most toxic gaming community online.
Debatable, have you ever been in a cod lounge?
