TBC dying ? What are you smoking? This is a 15 yo remake to enjoy for a couple of years and then move on. If you didn’t like the game back then you don’t like it now either. You want dual spec ? There is recent version you might like , retail
Tbc is great but doesn’t mean it’s perfect. We played tbc originally because wow was great at that time, but this is a different time and we’re talking about going back to play an older game. I think now the issues with tbc really come into focus and I think dual spec could really help!
I don’t get this view that if you want a few things changed it somehow means you don’t like tbc. I’m having huge amounts of fun playing tbc but it’s not a perfect game and my view is why not try to improve it now? I know the challenge then is that not everyone will agree with what needs to be changed or how, but acknowledging the game is not perfect doesn’t mean you hate the game, because it isn’t a perfect game.
Oh sweet irony, the re-release of the game is done on the cheap because the company is operating under the min-max profit motive…
Yet they won’t respond to making less money via customers walking out the door.
I’m not surprised that this is yet another way Acti-Blizz fails at running what could again be a thriving business. It’s what happens when the people who are ultimately in charge know next to nothing about the game and only care how much cash they’re going to get at the end of the quarter.
Between all of you people constantly complaining, server issues and Blizzard drama.
This game is going to end up extra dead.
Ngl when i unsub i just hit the nearest fkn reason, pretty sure most people do the same thing. Imagine trying to gate people unsubbing from your trash with some retardo survey
Genuinely laughing if ghostcrawler actually thought that data means anything other than “which reason was closest to the user’s mouse at the time”
Actually i think when i unsubbed between wod and shadowlands i did take the time to do a custom reason which said “ur game is trash”
I bet their automated system couldnt parse that and just filed it under “i dont have enough time 2 play any more” or something
BS.

Might as well give them dual spec. Players, in general, recognize a better version of the game and want the quality of life contents to go with it. The best of both worlds.
Now when they start clamoring for LFD/LFR, squash those retail buggers under your feet.
No, giving in to crying little babies just teaches them that crying works. Give them this and they’ll just move on to crying about the next modern feature that they “need.” Really, these people are just embarrassing.
I dont disagree, it was the whining that got us Retail, but not all quality of life features were bad. Dual spec is a good feature, and something that original TBC players would have embraced, so we go back and cherry pick the features that were good and avoid those like LFD and LFR that were bad to make the game we should had have.
I play TBC more because there is no dual spec.
i dont care lol also inv 2 asmon layer pls
I disagree. Having dual spec would limit some spec diversity. It would essentially make a lot of specs that are hybrids or that make compromises to be well rounded for multiple types of content obsolete.
People will think less about what type of content they want to do and how they build their character and just have 2 cookie cutter builds.
I think that’s part of the big grievance here. That people are going these ultra-pure builds that are often times only marginally better for the type of content you want to do.
In terms of roll swapping, which is the other argument for this. I mean, I played retail consistently up until classic: dual spec and then, essentially, on-demand respecing didn’t remedy tank or healer problem in my experience.
Signed up for a classic game, unhappy because there is a retail feature missing.
It’s interesting that we used to do all of the content back then without the issues you are having. Perhaps an old school RPG isn’t what you’re looking for?
You’re in Olympus. Maybe you’re playing less because Asmongold left and you don’t have anyone to follow around. Maybe find something you can follow/jump around like a felboar, or deer.
It never was a perfect game, but now you and others like you are obsessed with forcing it be perfect for you and you alone. Regardless of how anybody else feels for the sake of your convenience. And before you try and say that’s what no changers are doing, this whole Classic era experiment was originally intended for them to begin with. Without them it never would have happen. And the only reason they weren’t given Classic in a pristine state was because of decisions made by putting profit above customer satisfaction and the festering contempt Blizzard harbors for their player base. Not because you’re in a majority that want QoL introduced.
Then don’t respec every day. Plan your activities so that you only have to respec twice a week.
Also, as a druid, you should be able to do most content, including heroics in pvp resto spec.
Stop feeling so entitled to your retail QoL bs and leave a work of art alone. If you don’t want to play it the way it is, then don’t.
I’m a Prot Warrior and I’m telling you people to go back to Retail if you want dual spec.
Lol ok? I really couldn’t care less what you think.
