PVP feels ok to me tbh, sure a couple classes have an OP toolkit, but balance feels pretty good all things considered.

I don’t like the way CC works (it ALL needs to be on the SAME DR—everything from fear to stun to polymorph).
And I don’t like the stealth mechanics, they should function a different way but I’m not too stubborn about that.
Ya I agree. For me, I’m going to play SOD until it’s dead.
If I were to continue it would be on ERA where once you’re BIS you stay that way forever… however I enjoy the SOD upgrades, abilities, quality of life stuff too much to loose it all.
I’m excited about them adding the blood moon rewards and 2m PvP trinket as one of the rewards.
If blood moon is popping again I will stick around because that has been the funnest part of SOD for me personally, but if no one is doing it because all the PvP players are already gone, I will unsubscribe at that time.

Likewise, still enjoy SOD alot. There is just no way I can go back to a true vanilla classic version after SOD. Will continue playing my mains and leveling my alts and play out the remainder of SOD.

SoD keeps me subbed. Having a blast with balanced content. Doomers play forums more than the game if SoD at all. Same old blah blah. Especially now with season 6 being implemented.

Nah you aren’t alone, hence the huge sentiment of disappointment after no classic+ announcement. I wish SoD wasn’t backburner content for Blizz but it seems that Blizz lately is just a marketing company anymore.
They hype something new, get sales, let it die quickly then repeat. They just get the same like 60-70% of their audience to buy anything and everything bouncing constantly game to game with no permanence. And I’m not knocking the people that like that, I just wish some efforts were also given to the other part of their market. But alas that’s not as profitable so they do not care.

Blood Moon in Phase 2 was literally a barrel of fun, most fun ive had in WoW in a long time.
SoD is really the only reason Ive kept my sub active, but in this Phase Ive spent more time in Retail hunting mounts/collectables than time playing in SoD.
There was a lot of good ideas going into SoD but the idea bucket dried up fast, and Blizz seems to be floundering.
I saw they announced MoP Classic, which means more resources are being committed away from SoD, so i dont hold out any hope for return to the glory days

I’ll play SOD until its dead, no other version of WoW interests me. Retail is stupid and to me #nochanges classic is just so played out with crap class design. I was really looking forward to Blood Moon(probably the best PvP I’ve ever done in WoW lol, its addicting with a good group), but we’ll see what happens after November 21st.

I’m staying on SOD. Fresh nilla sounds boaring. Also did you see that new meteor trinket in AQ? It must be acquired.

Totally your decision but there is no harm in firing up an alt on Fresh and playing while the servers are jammed. It’s still classic WoW with megaserver populations.
You can have SoD as your main and Fresh for your alts then ride into the sunset when SoD is done in March. Or wait for TBC fresh with your leveled up alt.

My husband is like you. I would definitely stick around after SoD is done if the fresh servers stop progressing at BC or Wrath. Otherwise I am also like you.
I got excited for about a minute about player housing coming to retail, because I’ve wanted that for so long. (Hi! I’m one of the three people who loved her garrison. AMA.) But honestly retail has just become so sprawling and messy and e-sports twitchy that I don’t think I could go back even if they let me build my house right outside of Darkshire.

I’m here for SOD till the end. Dont care for retail, fresh.
I will probably cancel my sub once SoD is over. There is no way in hell am I playing fresh w/o any new stuff.
