Haven’t seen Heavy Metal references from them (well, as of yet). Seen plenty Clockwork Orange, Mad Max, A boy and his Dog, and Tank Girl though the zone.
I’m just not that excited for gnomes. I’m prepped to make one though so…
Still wish we’d gotten something more unique to pair with vulpera and gotten junker gnomes later with something that was also just a reskin.
I’ve seen people say they are excited about Junker gnomes, its just the people who are excited about Vulpera are REALLY excited about Vulpera, and for every person that says they like junker Gnomes, there is another person who pipes up and says why liking Junker Gnomes is wrong.
It’s not like we pay to play Alliance or Horde, anybody can and should make characters on both sides.

One of the issues I have is transmog. They’re in a really hard spot, with some saying this is just what you have to accept (like the no shoes races), and some suggesting legs/arms be customisable to one limb, or even neither and just have the head options.
I am very excited. Mechagnomes are rad.

Well lets see. You take the most loathed race in the game, and you make them cyborgs (and ugly ones at that). Using entirely new skins instead of the already existing adorable clockwork mechagnomes of Northrend. And you get this abortion of a race that you have to grind to unlock, in a zone many don’t even like. It’s surprising really, how someone wouldn’t be thrilled by all that.

I’m pretty excited to make my Mechagnome mage… but being a horde player, I’ll of course be making my Vulpera Rogue first…
Mechagnomes are a specialized race. It’s okay to not like them. Just don’t disparage us those of us who do. They’re clearly not meant for everyone.

That’s my biggest problem with them. I wanted real Mechagnomes. These guys are NOT Mechagnomes, they’re Junkergnomes which is soooooooooooo not the same thing. At all. Not even close. Hard pass.

Ya there’s lots of talk about Vulpera. Of course, half of them are about quitting the game due to their introduction to the Horde.
Mechagnomes don’t make or break. I’d have much preferred Gilgoblins Horde side for that same reason.
