I know ONE guy that is super excited for them. The other folks I know that play gnomes want nothing to do with them.
This is Pandaren erasure. Those things prior to MOP were thee race everyone wanted.
I’m not getting into this argument but you know high elf fans want the Silver Convenant.
Well Gnomes are one of the least played race not sure why adding a mech slant to an existing race and calling it AR would be popular.

Helfers aren’t all in agreement on that.
I wouldn’t know. I just know that HE are the most requested race since vanilla.
I’d love to have access to the official numbers on that.

The Silver covenant is a single group of Elves from Dalaran. Not a separate race.
The bulk population of blood elves currently allies with Lor’themar and their number 1 Priority is protecting the Sunwell and defending the ruins of Quel’thalas, like actual high elves should.
Some people also think the Vulpera should be Druids, when their leader is clearly a Shaman. People can make requests all they want. It doesn’t make them right.
But both the Vulpera and the High Elves are LUDICROUSLY popular requests. Meanwhile i saw players actively begging on these forums for blizzard to NOT go with mechagnomes. But here we are.

Usual, not always. Still, overall, we’ve got the short end of the stick on races. Can’t believe BfA is going out with Mechagnomes. Jesus Christ.

I think it’s interesting that someone who has one the least played races in the game - based on players per faction - is complaining about this.

I honestly don’t get where people are getting “dIaPeR gNoMe” from. I’ve been staring at the model for half an hour and I’m not seeing it. I think people are either stretching or just haven’t seen the actual model and are parroting what others have said.
I’m excited personally. While I do wish they had one or two classes different than regular gnomes to make their play a bit more distinct, I’m excited their own play a robot warrior or warlock.

I think it’s entertaining that instead of looking at the argument of Allied Races, you’re looking at my player race choice. Quite some mental gymnastics to compare my race choice to overall Allied Races released.
