I must speak my peace about Plunderstorm

Why suffer through it. The mount is ugly anyway :woman_shrugging:t2:

You know for sure what is meant by “wow content.” This is no more wow content in plunderstorm than hearthstone or heroes of the storm.

Just like telling someone to level up a DK in wrath classic to receive a mount in retail doesn’t make it new wow content.

Disingenuous.

Sod is a patch into wow classic. Classic is it’s own wow game. Plunderstorm is a side game completely disconnected from any version of wow aside from cosmetics.

The way they went about it was wrong in every way.

If instead of trying to keep it a big secret WoW update and just came out and said they were developing this new game and wanted us to try it and left out the cross over stuff, I’d think you’d see a lot less upset people.

There is a LOT of pvp that has zero to do with arena. There are decades of BGs that certainly are pvp and are not the small part of pvp that is arena.

Doesn’t make your complaint any less mindless. But you are able to make it, that’s right.

Don’t like the game mode, don’t play. Easy.

And the reason you couldn’t post in the Plunderstorm forum instead of General Discussions was …?

Ok, to all those saying if you don’t like it, don’t play it, if Blizz puts gear rewards behind open world content and you are a raider or dungeoneer who hates world content, just remember this and take your own advice.

I played through and completed the renown. It is one of the worst gaming experiences I have ever had. If Blizz decided tomorrow to give the rewards to the playerbase I would be fine with it as Plunderstorm was a miserable experience.

Here is a “wild concept” for you, how about making an event that leads to multiple ways to get the rewards. We use to do this but for some reason stopped doing things like that in favor of the current event.

You can also see their RBG rating of nothing as well

Honestly, I expected it to be way worse after seeing everyone complain. It’s decently fun and you can turn your brain off and watch something on the side while you farm. I’m pretty high renown after only a few days.

That said, I wouldn’t mind if they buffed renown gain again. It feels a little bit sluggish for a casual, limited-time event.

Here’s a crazy concept than… Just play WoW

i would love this game mode more if the captain would give more orders each time you complete them he would reward you with 150 rep and i would love it even more if the first 5 min were to complete those order, like how many can you complete after those 5 minutes it is a free for all and the last one standing gets all the loot.

just saying first 5min pve last 10min pvp survival of the strongest player.

with that both pve and pvp players can enjoy the game mode more.

obvioujsly those that do pvp will get more rewarded at the end.

Update: I’m done with the grind. Take that for what you will.

How do you know the claim about “half the player base” is too strong? You are in command of absolutely zero metrics. Your anecdotal defense is equally as valid as those who anecdotally claim a certain percentage of the player base don’t enjoy the this terrible new Fortnite skin foisted upon us.

This is such a tired and narrow minded response that couldn’t miss the point harder if it tried.

Well seeing as the current player sub numbers was leaked and confirmed true at around 7.25 million and climbing we can assume that half of that isn’t complaining about plunderstorm on these forums or Twitter. I had to use like 0% brain power to come up with this deduction. It’s really not hard.

I’m ngl I feel bad for casuals who just want the mount who have to queue for that so many times. It was fun a few times as a gimmick but quickly becomes tiresome.

I’m pretty sure it’s “speak your piece”
You’re mixing it up with “hold your peace”

If you’re speaking, the peace is broken.

You shouldn’t take these things for granite.

Your confidence is staggering. I mean, truly admirable. Well done.

It’s not confidence, it’s literal numbers.
