personally I don’t care about bfa. it’s gone. What I don’t like is doing 4 to 5 dungeons and getting no gear. I’ve done 3 on my monk so far. He started out 184 when I decided to do keys. well my key is up to an 8 now and I am still 184 ilvl. pretty sure I can do it. But at some point my key will be too high for me to do . I shouldn’t be punished for playing well. Which is how I feel.
BFA had issues but it was WAY better than SL so far for sure.
That didn’t take long
my main issue with Oribos is that it feels like it’s backwards… like if the devs rotated it 180 degrees, it would be fine… i find that often I run one direction thinking I am running towards where the flight master is, or where the auction bot is or vault is… but when i check my map, turns out i am facing/running the wrong way (usually opposite, and have to turn 180 degrees).
I have a similar issue with the Night Fae covenant… it too feels like it can do with a 90 to 180 degree turn, as often I end up running to where I think the soulforge or renown vendor or whatever is but instead am running on the wrong side or whatever and have to check the map to correct myself…
At this point
Bfa is better.
more “BFA was better trolls” that feel the need to type an essay to mask the fact that they’re mad they didn’t get a loot drop from a boss
bad bait
Uh…I can think of a couple reasons…
My character is 211 ilevel. I get loot drops, I’m gearing all right. I’m just saying it was better before. It felt more rewarding as opposed to what some people are saying that “less loot feels more rewarding” I completely disagree. It feels like they’re milking your money by forcing you to spend more time unnecessarily. There are many cases of people running the entire raid and not getting a single loot. This is clearly not fun and not rewarding. More loot + titanforging was way better.
Screw BFA, I miss MoP, it was the last time I really enjoyed WoW.
The Black Empire campaign and crisis on Azeroth seemed so rushed. Shadowlands still feels like Blizzard hired a bunch of artists who love Final Fantasy and Disney. Returning to Tiragarde Sound, it is affecting to see the rolling, natural hills, the patches of snow amid the grass, the huge human city in the distance. SL feels like too soon or the wrong time. I don’t think it’s bad yet but it does feel like a retreading, it doesn’t feel like anything genuinely new. It’s not a step forward from BFA, it’s side by side and feels odd.
I liked BFA. I like SL. I like WoW.
I miss some of the azerite abilities because they were fun, especially when stacked.
And I miss a lot of the zones because they were diverse. I feel like each zone in SL is basically all one color. They’re well done, don’t get me wrong, but I just liked how the zones looked in BFA better.
And I find Oribos to be boring and uninspiring. As annoying as the Horde city was in BFA, at least it looked amazing.
That said, corruption and TF can stay dead forever. I much prefer Torghast over horrific visions; at least they change and I can pick powers that make the runs a bit different.
I’d say it boils down to BFA had its issues, and SL most certainly has its issues. I’m not sure I’d say I miss BFA though. SL needs fixing.
Players have such a bad tendency of comparing the beginning of a new expansion with the end of an old one… BFA was so much worst than Shadowlands at its launch.
SL has its issues but at least I didn’t see a mass exodus of guildies one month into the xpac.
