I didn’t think it was possible for a vag to bleed for 15 years straight.
whats that mean? i am a female. how’d ya guess.
Uh no, if it is outside BRM it is probobly a group or 2 of players forming groups and PKing to kill time. If you are on a PvP server, and are in or around BRM you should EXPECT pvp to happen. If you don’t know that BRM is a PvP hotspot you have been living under a rock.
brd is in brm. hehe
Same, bud. Then you, of all people, should know just how disharmonious and insensible this game can be.
Her point is that the overwhelming horde numbers on most pvp servers compared to alliance are doing just that, not forming a “pvp community.” They are taking every opportunity to grief alliance players.
How many popular games do you know that are impossible to do anything on? I assume the majority of players have real lives and would rather spend their free time doing something they enjoy rather than being gank fodder for swarms of horde players.
By rationalizing being a dick by claiming it’s “pvp on a pvp server” you are destroying the very game you claim to like.
This is not how it was in vanilla, and changes (increased population cap) contributed to an unexpected result.
oh i know. the reason i’m saying this is i dont want classic to fail. i am having a good time on my not pvp server. haha
I’m implying you’ve been complaining about PvP for 15 years. There is nothing blizzard can do about it besides what they did in BfA: Warmode. Even then participation is the most important thing to make PvP as “fair” as possible and nobody can force that.
Just a hunch
It sounds to me that’s exactly what they are doing, and the alliance isn’t building a community to counter it.
That doesn’t mean what you think it means.
oh now this isn’t true. i didnt pvp in vanilla. i only ran bgs after that. and not that often.
It’s not like most people (horde) will keep precise track of every target they just zerg in a group and then choose to not attack.
So even if you’re killed 4+ times and become a target worth no honor to one horde, you will likely be worth honor to other horde near them.
You will just get chain killed regardless. Do u think when i was sitting in BRM killing horde before BGs came out i kept track of every name and stopped attacking if i could remember i killed them exactly 4 times already that day?
NO…im gonna just press my target nearest harm macro use fireblast.
Happy for you–I am having a great time on the PvP server I am on as well. It’s what I played on during classic-retail era (shoutout Tichondrius if you were on that server) so I kind of knew how it would play out. All of the people who I played with are having a great time as well (most of them also have historically played PvP servers).
okay answer this, when it declined, what caused it to do so?
Keep track of them. Gotta build up those server rivalries. Melt every warrior you can.
It’s a mix of many factors and is server dependant. To me, it was flying mounts in TBC killing wpvp, and I played both horde and alliance on pvp servers. Both of which were horde heavy. Camping was almost never an issue and anyone complaining about it was laughed out of the forums.
I think you will find people like to blame several things–be it flying, raid finder, class homogenization…whatever you want.
But I don’t think the PvP servers have anything to do with the decline of the game–if that’s what you are getting at.
LBRS, UBRS, and MC aswell. No wonder there are a bunch of players pvping out there, pvp in and around BRM is just a part of playing on a PvP server.
so pvp on a pvp sever happened?i love alliance that roll on a pvp server and whine about getting pvped…lmao.
First part made me laugh, second part made me think deeply. 10/10
oh what do you think it is?
How so? I tried to keep it as open as possible.
Please elaborate on your statement.
In any case, the final arbiter of this is Blizzard, who says the following
If you do not wish to engage in regular PvP combat in Classic, select a Player versus Environment (PvE) realm. PvE realms offer a limited and structured environment for PvP encounters. Players on PvE realms can actively choose when they wish to engage in PvP combat by enabling or disabling their PvP flag at will.
The following actions may be considered dishonorable but are considered legitimate PvP tactics and will not be addressed by our Game Master staff:
- Corpse camping.
- Tricking players into getting flagged for PvP (i.e. jumping in the middle of another player’s area effect spell).
- Killing players well below your level.
I love Blizzard themselves say reroll or get gud. Kinda funny
My definition also aligns with the general one from wikipedia:
Player(s) versus player(s) , better known as PvP , is a type of interactive conflict within a game between two or more live participants
