I looked at ironforge.pro and noticed the population is already shifting more in Horde's favor

So, in your mind, it’s not possible for PvE players to not care about PvP, while PvP minded Alliance players also reroll Horde? One of those things stops the other from happening? Really?

If alliance don’t care about PvP they won’t reroll horde because of PvP changes.

Are you this dense? Don’t do drugs kids  it makes you stupid  like Negald.

You are.

No.

The trend happened immediately, and could be seen in prepatch following the release of the boosts.

Every BG was FULL of Horde Boosts and Alliance in Naxx gear.

At that point, the writing was on the wall.

This is Blizzards fault, and they must provide a fix.

Lots of Alliance care about PvP, particularly on PvP servers.

So you’re honestly taking the position that the news and implementation of this change will not impact balance, and that it is entirely the fault of boosts? Maybe not everything in binary and both of these things can contribute to the Alliance dying.

The numbers have shifted heavily recently, since around the time the first blue post about H v H was made. I don’t see what else it could be. It’s not just fallout from boosts dude. It’s the announcement.

I’d say someone who can’t manage to realize that these factions aren’t hive minds is the stupid one.

Do you see the entire world like that? All these people are THIS way or THAT way?

The numbers are based on logged raids. There is literally no way that it’s reflecting an impact from last bloody weekend!

Well that’s why I am alarmed. What else is it? The numbers are crashing. No way it’s just boosts man. When this change goes live it is absolutely going to get a lot worse on PvP servers. Mark my words.

Yes…

And water is wet.

You are wrong.

AV, after AB, after WSG was FILLED will reroll and then boosted rooms for months.

I watched it happen.

The boost simple accelerated what was already happening. Pick a realm and look at the numbers since release. Horde is simply increasing.

You cannot point to last weekend, for an issue that is months in the making.

Unbelievable.

Do you agree that this change will cause these numbers to crash even faster at least?

This is why we NEED to delete all the racials, not just nerf the horde but just get rid of the root of the problem.

I know the Zugzug will cry, but the forsaken will be just fine; our supreme animations are why we’re the master race. Specifically male undead rogue; also human male rogue is damn good!

I am shocked, truly shocked. Couldn’t of seen that coming.

personally I’m just waiting to see if this change is permanent
looking to jump ship to an old 20ish shaman I haven’t touched since early classic if they do go through with it

Potentially, but not really.

The population is not as tilted as the pvp queues reflect. That means something.

Will Alliance PvP realm numbers die? Probably, as we have seen for MONTHS.

Will PvE realms shrug and keep going? They should since THEY DONT PVP ANYWAY.

I don’t understand how these numbers have shifted so much since the last time I looked at them.

Then you are not looking at the trend, and you didn’t PvP in Classic.

the ones that have always existed? wild. guess theres no mass exodus then.

Wild take.

Yes, because the behavior of players on PVE servers is the exact same as the players on PVP servers, right?

Without new players coming to TBC, I’m not sure how they can even fix this. Any added incentives to play as alliance should have been added before prepatch. Everyone knew this was how the factions were going to shape up.

you dont get my point. if the queue times are the cause of the issue, and the queue times havent changed, then theres no mass exodus of alli not wanting to bg or pvp anymore.
