I would agree if pathfinder required things that you had to do with other people, but they don’t.
They are pretty much, do quests, explore, find x number of items, etc. Stuff we do anyway.
I finished the Warlords one without any effort at all. I didn’t even know what was required when I got it.
The Legion one was a little more involved but nothing too insane.
These complainers here are the same people who in real life say, “why do I have to work? why can’t I just sit around and let people give me things and the government give me money?” And as far as completing the flying achievement in Draenor, you can do it in 11 to 13 days starting from scratch, and the only reason it takes that long, is waiting for the dailies to reset for rep grinding. And you only have BFA pathfinder part 1 completed, and that’s why you can’t fly yet in BFA. So shut up with your complaining, and open your eyes and realize it’s only a game and nothing matters there once you log off.
You could just play through the content, and then use the mission table to get the rep. Yes it would take longer but no grinding needed.
The OP always likes to make these threads, asking for free transfers, faction changes things like that.
I like you and your name always makes me smile.
I get that, but when I’m speed leveling an alt…I just want to get through things as fast as possible.
If unlocking pathfinder legitimately consisting of things I’m doing anyway when I have Azeroth Autopilot on and my podcast going, then I would have completed it a long time ago and we wouldn’t be having this conversation. So clearly it does take a bit more effort than you’re portraying it as taking here.
Thank you.
Plus gold for doing the quests is nice, the only thing I don’t like about pathfinder is the long wait for flight to be unlocked.
Was there something productive to add there?
Perhaps one day you might want the 100 rep achievement. Probably get flying in the process. Who knows.
Not that hard… while you’re running around collecting mounts you can rep farm… Dailies when at level took us longer to get there flying on the flight master mounts than the actual dailies themselves.
Cheers.
One of my alts is 96 and I’ve not even completed all the quests in the first area.
I thought pathfinder was account wide. Finish on your main everyone flys for free
I also personally congratulate people I see finish any pathfinder because I think it’s a big deal
I wonder. How many MMOs out there have true flying like Wow?
As for farming old content hinging on flying… If it’s not worth it to travel on foot (or even get flying, which makes no sense to me since it would just be faster to go farm) then it’s probably not worth even trying to get at all really.
Current expansion: what out there is going to be worth it just because you can suddenly fly? I’m not going to go out and do more WQs just because I can fly. I’m not going to say “forget it, I can’t fly” when it comes to doing my M+, especially since FPs are really close to dungeons. So my question is…
What is out there in world that you want to do, but not want to do enough that you won’t without flying?
If you like alts then it is definitely worth the investment. I stopped playing Wow shortly after Legion launched and was in the process of getting the bulk of my alts to 100.
I came back when BFA launched and started Legion. I went to Stormheim first and then High Mountain. After those zones I decided I wasn’t leaving the Broken Isles until I had the pathfinder.
Either that or I wasn’t leveling my alts beyond Warlords. I love my alts, so that wasn’t an option.
I won’t lie, the Legion one was rougher than the Warlords one, but it is definitely worth doing if you ever plan to level alts, or farm material from there.
It doesn’t take much effort I wouldn’t have done it.
It is accountwide. So if you are an alt type of person, then it is an easy choice to make.
I have the same problem. In fact I have always had that problem in all of the expansions, except BC. For some reason leveling in BC hurt and seemed to go on forever.
Ya and this sucks for returning players.
The requirements are downright stupid for non-current content. As a matter of fact this blatantly horrible design must stop, you either design around having flying mounts or dont, this achievment excuse is lazy. Better to have no flight zones and zones where you NEED flying. They did it in TBC, WOTLK and Cata. MoP had nothing exclusively attached to flying but shud had.
I have all pathfinders but seriously, they were a stupid idea to begin with.
I know there was a exp squish… but in BFA, one of my alts completed at least 2 of the zones before hitting 110, same post-110.
