I like the smaller BG brawls

6v6 is kinda awesome, I like it.

I loved the 6v6 tournament, they are way more interesting than the 3v3 tournament.

I think 6v6 rbgs would be awesome.

It’s nice when you got a good team, it’s horrible when you start missing 2 players, 1 is afk and the rest are in ilvl 155 gear.

I had 3 in a row like this and all I could do was laugh.

As much as I would love 6v6 rbgs it would severely limit class diversity in rbgs. Rbgs are already very picky about class, no reason to make it worse.

I enjoy the 6v6 bracket (each player really does have their own role to play) however the current ideation that it’s better to desert than to just lose has ruined this brawl (as well as others like Tarren Mill vs Southshore, which again used to be my favourite one).

I’ve had so many games this week where one of the teams leaves in droves after the first fight, causing the game to shut down and kick everyone - it’s malicious and annoying.

Would be better if you didn’t get maps like seething shore, way too big for a 6v6. Get into maybe 3-4 team fights the entire game.

They deduce how many nodes spawn in 6v6 on seethingshore.

I feel like in a 6v6 it would open room for more for class synergies and people would be getting killed as fast in team fights. So it might possible open room for more comps

You can play 3v3 as any spec. Although in RBG there is a lot of spec that have a hard time getting in because in a 10 person team fight they struggle. If it was a 6v6 though they might look a little better because they have to worry about 3 less dps on them.

I might be wrong I haven’t done any RBGs this expansion yet. Maybe all the specs right now have a place in RBG I’m just guessing that some don’t. I was thinking about enhancement went I wrote this since they only have 1 or 2 defensive, but maybe they are good because they have grounding totem.

Sounds like you gentlemen are more up to speed on the mechanical side of things. I’m pretty casual, and the things that have stood out to me about these 6v6 matches are:

  • I seem to get into more fun rivalries with opposing team members. It’s just a feeling, but it’ll be like *“Okay, that spriest was chapped about me deleting him in my opener a minute ago, that’s why he is chasing me past 3 of my teammates and over extending now”.

  • Communication seems easier. When someone calls out a goal, the other 5 seem more likely to respond

Silvershard mines takes forever to finish with only 2 carts up.

Also premades are a bigger problem than normal because you are very unlikely to get into a premade but just as likely to face one.
