Both used local and out sourced their animations.
Castleveinia was a weird one; Konami out sourced to America using Powerhouse Animations and their localization was Mua / Tiger Films.
Arcane used in house Riot animators and a French based studio.
2D fighting sakuga just hits different. Doesnât matter if it involves samurai, humans with special powers, or giant robots thereâs a certain energy that lovingly drawn combat animation has that is extremely difficult to replicate in any other way.
Blizzard doesnât have the power to police peoples opinion the way that an organization like Amazon could.
If they tried making any new media and get it wrong they would be brutally slaughtered by negative reviews.
People are just waiting for Blizzard to slip up.
One of the most notable examples that nobody expects was Batman: TAS which was animated by Sunrise, the same studio responsible for all the Gundam shows and Cowboy Bebop.

Now imagine the Evil Traitor Lich of Maldraxxus comes across an Otome Game then gets her Phylactery hit by a Truck sending a Fragment of her Soul to the Otome Gameâs Villainess Rival of the Heroine!
The Rogue Lich Soul Fragment immediately sets out to reclaim her Lich Status(disposing of her new Body in the process) while arranging for the Heroine to be corrupted.
How? By gaining her sympathy and arranging for the Heroine to acquire a Tome of Dark Arts then when things go wrong(I.E. the Dark Magic is noticed by everyone) give herself up in the Heroineâs place while having her new Phylactery ready to create a new Lich Body following the execution upon which the Lich can(via the Heroine not realizing that her intended Rival was the Lich she is just meeting) play on the Heroineâs guilt and rage against society.
The Heroine becomes a Death Knight while the Lich wipes out the pitiful Human Kingdom and makes plans to return to her own World finding a trace of tether to her own Soul and using it to tear a path through Reality into Maldraxxus.
Margrave Sindane in the end would be the true Heroine trying to save the world the Traitor Lich was Isekaiâd to.

Or how some entire episodes are done by an anime studio. I know some episodes / scenes in Gargoyles were DEFINITELY done by an anime studio. Along with a animation team that worked on rip off disney movies. Like one that made a âlets release this so people think its disneyâ hunchback of notre dame movie also worked on gargoyles

Warcraft Isekai anime pleaaase, Blizzard. Iâll pay a sub for life.
I donât have a problem with that, itâs the actual anime art style that I hate not the studio. If the art looks like Dragon Ball Z then I canât stand watching it (except for PokĂ©mon), if itâs CGI or looks like a more traditional cartoon (The Real Ghostbusters, first 2 incarnations of TMNT, X-Men, The Simpsons, etc) then I can enjoy it.
WoW had a movie.
Honestly kinda bummed we wonât get the sequel, but it was kinda bad for anyone but Warcraft fans.
If they had made it inhouse with the cutscene guys instead of a live action movie, it might have been better honestly. Blizzard has some good talent in the cutscene crew.

There really is no standard for what traditional animation actually looks like, nor is their an actual âanimeâ look. It is what currently is popular that is often seen and marketed as such.
Dragonball is made by Toei Animation, the same who did the 1980s Transformers, both Movie and Television Show (which yes is technically an Anime) and GI Joe 80s cartoon.
ThunderCats is a funky one as well, created stateside, but purely animated by Anime Studios.
As well as The Real Ghostbusters, X-Men TAS, Family Guy, The Simpsons are primarily out sourced to Japan and Korea for any and all scenes more involved than just talking. Often times the iconic appearances that people love are developed from the out sourced studio. Simpsons did a joke episode about this nearly 30years ago.

Knowing Blizzard, they will finally do it when the ship has sailed and the market has been oversaturated with mmo based animations.
The only cartoons Iâve ever seen described as anime are those that have a similar art style to things like Dragon Ball Z and PokĂ©mon. My wife also likes an anime called Sword Art Online and that has the same style, as does every other cartoon Iâve seen clips or pictures of that was labeled âanimeâ.
As I said Iâm OK with all of that, the anime studios do great work I just donât like the art style commonly referred to as anime.
I thinks one of these options is easier then the other.

check out hellsing ultimate, paranoia agent, redline, Attack on titan ( kinda new ish take on the artstyle ), Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo ( shakespear ftw ), Ghost in the shell, and one punch man.
allot of the recomendations still have roots in the same style but really break the mold on the artstyle itself.
