How about none? They’re not funny then, nor now.
Thanks.
???
That’s not how any of this works, lol. While Blizzard might need to maintain some asset on their side to interface with Netflix, they wouldn’t be doing the script-writing, VA, animation, etc.
That’s about what I expected.
I bet you’re a riot at your rallies.
Oof, big miss there buddy, if you’re implying what I think you’re implying.
In fact, the implication that if you don’t buy into a soulless corporation pretending to be socially aware you’re a bigot is funny to me, unless you’re about to tell me you think horseshoe theory is real, in which case this whole thing is hilarious.
is that because hes a tauren?
edit: like… rallies the fast food place?
I know some people that want it done internally.
Sadly, they have no sway on the matter.
That would cost us a raid tier.
This joke is stale, but we all know Blizzard is incapable of doing anything.
im already not sure how i feel about a good chunk of the lore being in books.
i have a feeling the same thing would happen with an anime/series heh
i’d rather have it all within the game tbh
i guess it could be its own standalone thing, never touching new lore, but whats the point then?
Just a note: Cyberpunk is an RPG setting that came out in 1988, and has many different iterations. The game Cyberpunk 2077 is just entry into the overall series, but it originated as a pen & paper RPG, similar to Dungeons & Dragons.
I’m not saying a Warcraft animated series wouldn’t work, just pointing out that Cyberpunk has been around for a very long time, so it’s not like a “new thing” that has just been picked up, even though Cyberpunk 2077 has renewed interest in the setting.
I would love a WoW anime, such i loooove anime
I wouldn’t mind seeing something WoW related by the folks that animated Legend of Vox Machina. I’d say their name but I think the censor will think I’m saying something bad.
Titmouse, Inc.
Had their hands in Animaniacs, Tiny Toons Adventures, Freakazoid and first season of American Dad.
The one’s who animated Avatar the Last Airbender Legend of Korra openings
Did all of Metalocalypse, Venture Bros, Superjail, China, Il and Vox Mach. and the (revival of) Beavis and Butt-head.
Currently they have a bid to get the reboot of Darkwing Duck and rumor has it Doc Hammer now has rights to Gargoyles and looking at Titmouse after The Venture Bros. movie for that to be revived.
Yup that one. I just wasn’t sure if the censors would be cool with that word lol.
Well given that Warcraft lore has been a thing for a long time as well, Studio Trigger (ones doing Cyberpunk Anime) could do it some justice since they do work well with other US studios well for a decent amount of time as well.
Helping with OK KO, Steven Universe and Toy Story Battlesaurs short.
Gross. Cartoons are fine, but I just cannot stand the anime art style and I’ve never understood why people like it so much. The only anime I’ve ever been able to stomach watching is Pokémon, and that’s only because it’s Pokémon.
I think it’s a matter of money. Not sure about that Cyberpunk thing but apparently, Arcane was nearly tanked just because of how ridiculously expensive it was to make. They have a multipart docuseries on youtube about making it. You can fund an entire AAA game production for the cost it took to make that thing lol.
yea. dudes should just do what Blizzard did and make a mobile game. ez millions with no risk of it sucking because people will play it anyways for some reason.
Yeah, I was shocked how much that thing actually cost for a show runner, more than some actual movies. Art Style / Direction and Localization or Abroad Studio involvement can greatly increase or decrease the cost of an animated project’s cost. Changing a character’s clothes is grossly insane on cost productions in animation.
More so if hybrid approach is used, like with Arcane.
Find the right Producers who are willing to take risks and you too can make a smash. Smash hit or miss is all based on the targeted audience and location of release.
Wait till you find out that Anime Studios have been animating the intros / title sequence of American sitcoms and dramas, and often have animated the entire production of American cartoons since the early 1980s.
Gotta make the distinction- if we mean anime as in japanese animation-
Not everything needs to be a frickin’ anime.
I think when they say they want a wow anime they mean something like Castlevania or Arcane.
