hmmm come to think of it, with all the boxes i’ve opened this year, i haven’t seen a single wasteling, heartbreaker toy, or forever lovely rose.
i’ve had fumigator masks, but none of the other stuff.
if i can’t even get the boring stuff to drop, i’m completely deluded if i think the mount will drop 
and as for the original topic, tanks don’t really help when there’s the random agro, and if people don’t stand in the bad, there’s no damage done.
With all due respect - and I personally just queue in on the spec I sign up on, even if that is always DPS - you’re a hunter. Your pets should have a taunt, yes?
I’ve had my pets (both on hunter and on warlock) tank the spooky plague boys plenty of times because the actual ‘tank’ swapped to DPS spec for a faster kill. No one got hurt, no one died, it was over even faster than usual. Win win for everyone.

I did that by mistake on my ret paladin and everyone was fine.
I’d normally agree but for Crown Chemical it really doesn’t matter.

is there an advantage to doing it slower? does that make the mount more likely to drop?

Is not really a need to have a tank or heals when we all melt the bosses.
Seems like a pointless outrage. If it was mythics could understand but as said we literally melt the bosses in Crown Chem and it takes less than 4 minutes to do.

Because the fight is like 10 seconds average with bosses basically taking a few hits. Really? You wonder why people do this for faster queue? It doesn’t even need roles. You sound a lot of fun.

I’ve done 7 Vday dungeons today and not a single tank was in tank spec, but didn’t matter because the three guys died almost instantly. Honestly don’t think they should even have roles for this dungeon unless they rebalance it.

I don’t care if they do this but at least walk up and start the fight - don’t hang back and expect some else to take the aggro. I have seen 2 people do that in the last 4 times I have done the fight.
Almost died to this the other night. DPS was low and the “healer” wasn’t healing anyone. I know this is the exception not the rule, but there can be times where a bunch of low dps alts make it take longer than the “15 seconds” faceroll y’all are talking about. In that situation, yes you should be able to do the job you signed up for if you can’t bring the dps.
I made that mistake once since I was questing. Unfortunately the SL change where your spec changes when you zone in a dungeon depending on the spec you queued for does not seem to work for all expansions/events. Plus seriously sometimes I’m still in the loading screen and the event is already done. Especially this year I do not know what happened maybe everyone is just so geared, gemmed etc that the event is done in less than 2 minutes.
A tank in there is completely unnecessary and queueing in as a tank but in dps spec speeds up the process for everyone. Been doing it on my ret all week and yes it literally takes 15 seconds.
Well, if you restricted it to “true” tanks and healers those que times are gonna look more like 15 minutes plus
